you should of turned auto-pilot off when the problems started and took control to london and poor simulator pepole R.I.P and poor boeing 747 thats a lot of money lost
well i always watch air crash investigation and this is my analyse of the crash: the pilot made a few mistakes: 1. at 1:53 if you looked at the speed and and saw that the rate of climbing was too high you could turn the autopilot off and take over the plane. If you did that you could easily remain control of the plane. 2. who learned you to use brakes when overspeed!.
how could a boeing 747 shake so hard after a few little incidents?
Should have looked at BOTH ASI's the dial type ASI was showing about 200kn just before stall. Your GPS would have given you a rough speed. I think you should have switched on de-ice. Speed (peto) tubes were possibly blocking, as you decend it'll throw you speed errors... Why you felt a need to put on the speed breaks, I'll never know.
Ok so basically you oversped. That should not hav happend if you had autothrottle engaged, coz it wudve kept speed constant. But if you ever do overspeed, pull the throttle back rather than use speed breaks.
Also if the plane's in a nosedive, pull the throttle back and pull up. If you keep the throttle at full during a dive, the plane won't respond and you'll crash. Then once the nose is up, bring it back to full throttle. Then you can ascend back to your supposed FL
at 25000 feet the 747 dosent drag beacuse of more speed and your plane was draging so it never overspeeded and you idiot you gave the soilers and than stalled.and there was nothing wrong with autopilot.and when you were going that far should have cruised at 39000 to 40000 feet for fuel save
Never...i mean never put on the speed brakes/spoilers when you are that fast or that height, it slows down the aircraft so much that you can easily stall, then, if your FSX is on a realistic setting, it causes stress to the aircraft which means on landing, the spoilers may be broken and disabled when you need them most.
This happened to me on FS2002, I had a flight from LA to Hong Kong. The autopilot glitched when I was coming into the airport. I was also flying a helicopter once and my dad messed with something and the helicopter started spinning in the air, but I saved it and kept going.
Second, never deploy Speed Brakes with autopilot speed activated. Deactivated then lower the throttle to avoid stalling at high altitude where air is thin. Once the overspeed goes away, then power up the engine and activate the speed control again to maintain control without trouble.
He deploy his spoilers maximum while auto throttle and speed were activated. He spoiled the airflow and stall. The Speed brake lever is fully open from cockpit and a glance on the wing. Cause from pilot error!
I've had the same problem and I did an investigation(judge me) I was climbing out of heathrow when the nose suddenly pitched up and I stalled out and crashed. This occurs when your pitch is too high when heading into headwinds. If you recognize it early enough you can recover.
technically, it didnt stall, though. It pitched up too far, and then went crazy like in the video. Imagine what happened to the 747 from 1:59-2:17 (I think thats when the guy recovered), but just change the plane to an Asiana A330-300 and change the french scene to a scene about 10 miles from Seoul Incheon's Rwy 16. Oh, and at a much lower altitude. say..2000 feet or so???? I had no time to recover...i was too low. RIP to all 203 people on board my plane!
Same happened to me....I was in an Asiana Airlines (Freeware!!!!) A330-300 from London Heathrow to Seoul Incheon...Over China, the airbus started vibrating, and continued without stopping. I kept the plane under control for the next..20-25 mins or so. Then, when i was on final about 10 nautical miles from runway 16, (still vibrating!), the plane's nose suddenly pitched up to 40-something degrees and i stalled. The plane crashed exactly 9.7 nm from the beginning of runway 16.
why didnt you put your auto throttle on and speed hold on and set yor speed on 300 at indicated airspeed. Or something around that speed, because you used your speedbrakes and in real they will damage very much. Just a question.
i was in a 737 on fs 2004 today and a simlar thing happened to me, the nose pitched to 40 degrees, the plane stalled and before i knew it i was in the sea...
When something happens which you've never known could happen before, switch off the autopilot and autothrottle and fly it manually. From what I get your autothrottle was srewed and your autopilot just did what it had to do to maintain the entered altitude which then also caused a stall.
NEVER add any speedbrakes or other flappy bits when you're on overspeed. If the plane is overspeeding and you open up the spoilers, they will just shear off and cause you to lose control.
If you want to recover from overspeed, throttle back and pitch up (just command the autopilot to climb if you want to stay on AP). Your airspeed will drop and you can recover by descending to your assigned FL.
I hope you had the autopilot throttle mode set on IAS hold, not accidentally on TO/GA?
Ladies and Gentlemen, there is NO cause for alarm. Fasten your seatbelts and stay seated and locate the lifejackets behind the seat behind you, but do not unfasten your seatbelt.
4 some reason i have the same problem with the airbus a321. when im flying the autopilot will "magically" turn on and make the plane spaz. No matter what i do, i can't disengage the autopilot. I dont fly the a321 anymore. I think they are a little weird to control as if the computer is working against you and not just cuz the auto pilot glitches. Does any1 else feel this way about the a321?
You should keep repeated notice of the speed indicator. Just about 6 seconds before the plane nose lifted the plane was at 200 knots and a lil less could have the plane stall, if that is the case disengage the Auto-Pilot and put the nose down a little to get speed.
left speed break on to long it think ... set your speed put it on auto pilot when your all ready and leave it pretty much tbh thats fsx abit broing really LOL
This is 113Wardog, first of all your spoilers was open full. Never open the spoilers at criusing altitude, deactivate the auto throttle and reduce power slightly until the overspeed stops. Otherwise using spoilers with autothrottle activate is a bad combination for disaster. Look at your aircraft's wing closing on both at once to see why. They stayed open from you notice the plane shake to impact. I also notice your anti ice was deactivated too. Pilot error
This plane crash was cause from pilot error, look at your spoiler handle is fully open with autopilot activated. Bad combination for disaster. Bot wings shows the spoilers open. Deactivated autoothrottle and slightly reduce power until the overspeed stops and quickly go to full and activate the autothrottle.
The exact thing happens to me every time i fly that plane and its on autopilot. After awhile it pitches up, loses speed and then of course stalls and crashes.
This is 113Wardog. The British aircraft that crashed was cause from pilot error, look at both it's wings as he had the spoilers open with autopilot, bad combiination for disaster.
Why didn´t you used flaps when the plane was in overspeed?

At auto pilot, it seems that nose-up is a bit too much.....
I mean, is you're nose-up not a bit too much?
I thought about it, when middle in this film, and just there after you said about "putting nose down, to gain speed in recovery after a stall..."
Nose up, along the flight on auto-pilot, steer colom in the left ; maybe low on throttle...
Maybe ran out off gas, not that I've seen on the instrument panel.. but you'll never know..
