@dannystrat It was Hard Day's Night. Funny thing is I got a copy of the commercial breaks from this from one person, then years later from an Ebay seller I got a collection of Beta tapes that included the same broadcast, but recorded by someone else.
@eyeh8nbc I imagine a lot of folks taped that broadcast! That was about the time VCRs became more popular and somewhat affordable. Yours probably cost around a grand I assume! Oh- thanks for the post. I really enjoy these local area commercial breaks.
@dannystrat Yep- sadly I (or my parents rather) didn't get a VCR til 1985, though I begged for one years before that! Never even lived near Los Angeles either. That makes it even weirder finding 2 different copies of this same broadcast though.
Mrs. Butterworth's commercials seemed to have been very commonly shown then based on how often they appear in YouTube uploads of old commercial breaks
That last commercial was kinda creepy.
