@LoneArrowOne just bought same guitar but in lefty to go with my 50th deluxe lefty :)
6 numbers and a bonus ball and that custom shop 50th is mine lolol.
Awesome playing bro!!!! i suck on guitar but hoping they make good investment nothing to do with the fact they are guitar pornography lol. Once again GREAT PLAYING brother!
You have a Squire dude! But don't be too disapointed. Fender bought Squire... because the guitars (which were Strat and Tele copies) were too good! I know people who bought a Squier... removed the logo and stuck a Fender water slide decal in its place! The only thing that gives it away... is the serial Number!
if its 1982-84 it could be really great because when the japs first took over they went completely ninja about materials. then they found out it was not needed to make money and it turned out that the japanese can be pragmatic as well as ninja
does anyone know how many 50th aniv strtas fender produced? specificaly the one with gold hardware. a friend of mine is selling it. im not rich but i want to make this guitar an investment and sell it in the future.
Ham, you're confused. The Amer. Series 50th Ann. - the *distinct model* as shown in the video - came in only 1 form-factor: 2-tone 'burst, maple board, 1-ply parchment guard & special Custom Shop single-coil pups. No humbuckers.
You probably have a regular "Fat Strat" made in 2004. ALL Amer. Series guitars in 2004 - not just the true 50th Anns - featured the commemorative neck plate. The presence of that neckplate alone means nothing.
I got a 50th Anniversary today, still in mint condition. Fender must have made a stack of them but they still have a special quality. You play real purdy.
Except what you're actually hearing is analogue (because it's going down a wire and out your speakers)! Everything you listen too, on here, or on CD/ DVD has been converted to digital output. I own a valve Marshall but you ain't ever gonna get high end distortion unless you push it to it's limits. Years ago, no self respecting guitarist would be seen dead using a Coloursound fuzz box... now they're trendy, you'll pay stupid money for 'em? So in short... it's all a load of bollocks!
Quite amazing! Trouble is, you make me jealous: I have a US Strat that looks just like yours (but it's a Highway One)-- the difference is that you can play it. . . Brilliant.
I've probably owned more Fender Strats than any other model going right back to the late 70's... two of them (including a Highway One) are in this movie! It's taken all those years to find one that "fits" me! Consider this. A guitar is still largely handcrafted out of wood. Every guitar resonates differently due to the density of the wood and how it was assembled. Everything in the universe resonates at it's own frequency including me! This one "fits". It'll probably stay with me a long while!
I lost my comment so here it is again...Very Very nice...You did a great job with the video and music....Love love it...It was worth the wait. Thanks for sharing with me!!
