ok well now i got it to recognize it when i press install, says Installing this profile will change settings on your iphone, i Click ok Install now... then says "profile failed to install" Only one APN config can be installed at a time. So thats where i am stuck now! phone was jailbroken originaly, i got the phone and replaced battery since wouldnt even power up, and just put my at&t sim card in and havent setup anything else. Sorry for short essay!

let it be known that you missed a few steps,

1. i had to unistall all apple programs from my system for the utility to work

2. before you install the profile on your phone you must type in wap.cingular as an identifier by clicking on genral and where it says identifier type in wap.cingular

i was getting a error when i tried to install it in my iphone, but besides that this program is great

@heathermarie4 i googled it, there is nothing in the phone it self. I basically used common sense cuz it was a pre-set that was there already. i played with info over and over til something worked. att only has a few identifiers depending on what service you have, for example if you have a blackberry, you will have a different identifier like isp.cingular. so i concluded that the identifier is wap.cingular. if you google them u will see what i mean.

Might depend on the firmware you're currently on. I did this on 3.0 and it worked.

Otherwise, i would delete it and follow the instructions again and see if that works.

You guys have to be on software 3.0, or 3.0.1 for this to work. 3.1 isnt jailbreakable and therefore cant be fixed like that. So i recomend downgrading to 3.0.1 anf jailbreaking then following that process
