Looked like a good spot.

You could use the stream for a water source provided you boiled the water and know it hasn't got pollutants or farm chenicals washed into it!

What hammock are you going to use? I did struggle with the Nomad as it was on the small size. Think my future wild camps will be on mother earth until I get a new DD hammck and then maybe when the weather warms up next year.

@g0vqw I am also ditching the Nomad and have managed to get hold of a DD Travel Hammock, with snakeskin for £40.00...cant wait to use it ! Thanks again for your feedback Sandy
