  • i love the way in every video it shadows the same city and then hits earth full how does anyone know it will happen and another thing if it did how would you know that it wouldnt just clip earth

  • @Aerenmerksmw2 They're not showing one clip earth, they're showing one hit it. Besides, if a 500 km asteroid 'clipped' earth, the end result wouldn't be all that different.

  • 529 people are afraid to die.

  • @barryw53 spot on.

  • Well the video is very good with very good special effects, but do not believe that!!.We must not be pessimistic we must be optimistic we must think about our live, our family and our friends. We must think how to make our future better and not think when we will die and how.Anyway sometime all will die ,when we get old,but it doesn't matter when.So we must think about ourself and not for DEATH.

  • PERFECT!!!

  • Deus tenha misericórdia de nós.

  • i wanna be a astronaut now

  • uma vez com agua, e agora com fogo

  • Pink Floyd makes the apocalypse so much better.

  • @Joiner113 True

  • I'm pro-this, as long as the same song's playing and I'v got a good view.

  • surfs up -.-

  • i dont get it...if "evidence shows that this has happened at least 6 times in Earth's history" then how did LIFE and living things appear? Did they die out and reappear? Or lets say life came after these 6 astroid hits, then where did life really come from?:O

  • @MegasPhilippos A majority (If not all. I'm not really sure about the number of impacts) of those hits happened before earth was habitable. While it was still in the formative stages. Life could've come from an asteroid that carried water, or it could've just sprung up from inorganic material (There's evidence to suggest this).

  • DOBRE pierdolnięcie !

  • @yepimjosh2 it's called "evaporation".

  • so what happens to all the water, if the world just turns into a fireball?

  • 0:04 asteroid showing us its Oh Face, know what i mean?

  • Earth Got a Boo Boo

  • Japan just keeps getting pwnd.

  • Comment removed

  • Just think an impact like this with a Mars sized planet created our Moon four billion or so years ago.

  • Big asteroid there -more of a dwarf planet really! Aamzing animation and great music - thanks.

  • lol im so scared now

  • 526 persons probably got hemorrhoids impact watching this EPIC video....how could you hit the dislike bar..... :-s

  • honestly, that looks pretty devastating. i feel empty now :(

  • Earth is remodelling her backyard

  • Please tell me the song name before we die. :(

  • @YourGamingTeam The description

  • @YourGamingTeam Your kidding me right. Incase your not, here is the answer.

    Artist is Pink Floyd,

Album, Dark Side of the Moon,

track name - The Great Gig in the Sky

Dark side of the moon has to be one top 50 albums of all time.

  • The only way to bring life to a dead planet is through an asteroid crash and the only way to destroy life is through an asteroid crash

  • lol now u got 5milion people view u video Congratulations

  • KA-BOOM!!!

  • If I had a dollar for every pixel in this video, I'd have 720 x the frames per second x 286 seconds.

  • @zezimaowner123 nope it would be 921600 pixels (because 720 is only the vertical length of pixels and the video has 1280 horizantal pixels and when to multiply that together you get the are and total amount of pixels which is 921600) x 35 (the FPS this video appears to run at) x 286 and you would get $9,225,216,000

  • @zezimaowner123 No, idiot, 720p does not mean 720 pixels, letter p stands for progressive scan or non-interlaced. That means it has 720 horizontal scan lines at a 16:9 ratio, so each frame would have 1280x720 pixels or 921600 pixels.

  • The asteroid is a good singer :))

  • 500km asteroid!? 10km and we are fucked. and about nuclear weapon, all we can do with it, it's a blow our ass.

  • Freakin phenominal!!!!!!!!!

  • 1. Pause video

    2. Mute video

    3. Youtube search "Louis Armstrong- What a Beautiful World" and play

    4. Play video with new song

    5. ???????

    6. Profit

  • @ajmac1990 that would be all well and good, but it's "What a WONDERFUL World"

    You just lost the game.

  • Don't worry the ambulance will arrive soon. Everyone is going to be okay.

  • Good thing we have the capacity to prevent this kind of shit from taking place.

  • @3rkid2 do we???

  • @Sheillen14

I'm confident that Earth's colossal nuclear arsenal can divert even an asteroid this large from impacting us.

  • @3rkid2 Negative, any attempt to break up object would result in breaking it into more parts that will now hit even more places on the planet.

Your only option is to wrap your arms around your loved ones and tell them you love them as you all close your eyes, and ........

oh god I just made myself cry a little bit.

  • @johnpa2006

No one's attempting to break it up, just nudge it off its collision course with Earth.

    Don't give up so easy.

  • how long would it take for everything on Earth to die as a result of that impact? A day? A week?

  • I used to be planet earth...but then i took an enormous asteroid to the knee.

  • @Mtmcgjr i was gunna push like..then ..lol you know the rest

  • This was filmed with a potato

  • @dcsk8ter80 It's a pretty nice potato :)

  • This Is What Happens When Chuck Norris Takes A Dump

  • damn chuck norris will be alone

  • @svrakata alone? with elvis presley and michael jackson:)) and aliens:))

  • thumbs up if you got here searching: "HD" x)

  • hj

  • the asteroid should've hit the moon so that the moon will become bigger

  • gives me the chills everytime

  • The Earth will become what it once was. A giant fireball ready to take the shape of a home to billions of creatures. Hopefully the new inhabitants will be less destructive than we are. :(

  • @USGiorgi They will be even more destructive cause they won't have any history that teaches them moral rules and how to avoid social/economical/environmental distasters, we know all this, we just have to stop the political structure from holding us back. Some people say that the world has turned to shit, but people are treated a lot better now than they were before. Without any history we don't know what to do and what not to do.

  • @Watchdawg

Hmm... Let's see.... The humans have only been around for ~100,000 years. Within 100 years, we have decimated the forests of Amazon. Driven countless species to extinction. Built weapons that can destroy the world population hundred times over. Waged countless wars against each other. Polluted the environment that we all live in. Dried up natural resources. Yet, we continuously lust for more. Let's face it, we're horrible guests and that's all we are on earth. Just guests.

  • @USGiorgi So true.

  • @USGiorgi Yes, but my argument is that even if we started all over it would have the same outcome.

  • @Watchdawg

Thats debatable. Not exactly the same conditions would exist, so the creatures that would be created are unknown.

  • @USGiorgi You can't really debate about anything if you talk about conditions, that would be a wasted debate if so. There are so many things in the world that alters other things. We can only use ourselves as an example of how future civilizations would arise. If you think about it, almost every catastrophic event have a positive outcome in the end, it always leads to some form of discovery and newer understanding. After all, what can you know that you haven't discovered?

  • @Watchdawg

I agree with that. However, I will correct you in that every natural, catastrophic event has had a positive outcome. Catastrophic activities caused by man are just horrible.

  • Puede pasar esto ?

  • Das a spicy meatball!

  • Quite scary to think that one day that could actually happen.

    Amazing video none the less.

  • 0:55 anyone noticed the asteroid had an "angry face" thing?

  • Good singing! heres your bananna.

  • I want that music...

  • That's bullshit...

  • Asteroid? That was like the size of Mercury.

  • i watched in 240p. Like a boss

  • wtf you can't even call this singing, shes just sreaming like a little pig

  • am scared ....

  • Istna katastrofa!!!

  • Perfection.

  • Not 1080p?

    Fkin stupid

  • Chuck Norris still alive...

  • I do not believe the end of the world! So God knows! Plus the video was very good!

  • if this happened today there would be no more South Park, that makes me sad, mkay. So asteroids are bad, real bad, mkay.

  • 4:05 it´s looks like hell :O

  • @AlexGamingPs3 Have you ever seen hell?

  • @porrola Yes, of course XD

  • @porrola NOT!

And yeah, I don't really know many pink floyd songs.

  • Shit

  • Ae Começa ao level 1 denovo? kkk

  • I still can't understand that a stone, only 1 mile in diameter, can completely wipe out all life. Think of it! It's about the size of a small village... it's NOTHING compared to the size of the rest of the world.

  • @MickehDaHuskeh Its not the size thats the problem in reality its the speed of the projectile, its like a paint particle in space put a dent 4 inches deep 7 inches wide into the cockpit of a shuttle.

  • @MickehDaHuskeh o.O The asteroid on this video is very great!!! at least 100 km of diameter! it's so big that has got a spherical shape! It's enouh big to burn all the biosphere!

Instead, the true question is: "how Ceres (the only asteoroid with a spherical shape, in our solar system) will can hit the Earth?"

  • @MickehDaHuskeh

Me neither. I mean stone that killed dinosaurs were about 6 miles in diameter; it killed 75% of Earth's life forms. To wipe out all life, even bacteria from ocean bottoms you'd need a lot larger rock. 95 mile object would have enough force to boil all water on Earth more than twice.

  • I don't know what the original audio was, and frankly, I don't really care. Nice matchup.

  • Won't be there for the impact cause I'll be on the dark side of the moon!
