That girl carrying the guy has a great body... However, FBB are nowhere even close to male body builders of the same weight. Also, most of these women use steroids and other "enhancers", have menstrual problems and so on. The average male is substantially stronger than the average female. Comparing female weight lifters to average men is downright stupid

2:44 - 2:49 , .. . she's is actually rocking while lifting. That can be harmful and often is in ways you're not aware of until later in life, sometimes sooner. Most of the guys in the vid are not athletes, much less body builders. I've nothing but respect for  males or females achieving this. But if you pair these particular FBBs with guys like Ronnie Coleman or Melvin Anthony, the balance would clearly tip the other way.

If body weight is same then a woman should be stronger. Because the weight of man's bone will be much more than the woman.So the woman will have more muscle weight. Beside to lift equal weight an woman needs less calorie than a man. Although most mixed wresting videos are just fake but these factors goes for woman.

not true, the reason why women use less calories is because of less muscle. however if she's buff, then the usage of calories can go beyond that of a man's.

Also you must consider that some of the world's strongest men can carry a greater mass proportion of their body weight as compared to their female counterparts

@fredpope065, actually SexualStrat is correct (except for the name-calling). Let's see the FBBs in these clips compete against men who also take steroids; i.e., "level the playing field." I suspect the outcomes of the competitions would be very different and probably not to your liking. So FBBs can beat untrained "average" men -- so what? What exactly is proved? Besides, its the 21st century. Superhuman physical strength is not as important as superhuman intellect. Brains, not brawn, matters.

@fredpope065 True, though most of those guys that are 6-11 have atlot more athletic ability than people think. There are loads more 6-11 guys who never sniff the NBA. The NFL is big, fast, and bad men. The lifespan of a player is play to play. We should not be comparing bodybuilders to those types of athletes. I love the fbbs, but the market is much different for bodybuilding. There is alot more than brawn or size to the NFL and NBA...trust me.

One anecdotal example, in the 1980’s Queen Kong was famous for mud wrestling in clubs and destroying average guys, however then she took on David “Deacon” Jones from the LA Rams and, when he tried, was not even close to competitive with him.

@fredpope065, thanks for your responses. Re the ridiculous salaries of athletes, that's another can o' worms. American society has twisted values. The important distinction re Brains vs. Brawn is that brainy people can (but not always) benefit Mankind in ways athletes never can (I'm thinking of scientists and teachers). Athletes, by and large, only benefit themselves . . . and the parasites (promoters, advertisers) who make money off them. Sports might "uplift" the human spirit -- big whoop.

@TheMacrophiliac Some of it is genes. Those are not genetically gifted men and the women are generally stronger than your average woman to start with. Of course roids affect it. The sun rises in the east too. Steroids and PE drugs have been a part of sports for a half century now and are better than ever these days. There are even natural things you can do to boost your testosterone a little. Exercising and supplementing properly is one. Roids go next level though...no doubt.
