  • great channel, good to see people think ahead also, pretty crude question, if you can answer it, will oil prices fall due to the economic crisis (or debt crisis) in the US and EU?

  • Another great episode! Merry Christmas ;) c

  • Hydro-electric is not a practical soltuion for homeowners. You can't just put a water wheel into a river or even a stream. The ability to block moving water is very limited. Ponds are typically created from the water that begins on ones own property for example.

  • Well I do have another question. Why do you thnk the Goverment chose to pursue wars in the Middle East to dominate Oil Pipelines over say China/Russia then doing a Crash Energy Program like the Manhattan Project or the Apollo Program?

Personaly I think a National Energy Program would have been a better alternative providing jobs, possibly advance energy products that could have reinvigoraged our manufacturing base, well I just think it would been a better alternative.

  • @valhala56 The influential money from those that will benefit most from the oil wars (weapons manufacturers, oil companies, military support companies etc..) is far more influential than the small amount of money representing the clean energy lobby. It will only happen when the people's interest outweighs the financial influence of the companies. The system is designed to not let that happen of course. That's why the occupy wall street stuff will most likely have no effect at changing laws.

  • @MrEnergyCzar All the more reason for the USA to support going to war against the coal, oil, and fracking companies, the same way Greeks have revolted for years, and the same way Syria, Libya, Egypt have overthrown THEIR leaders - even if partly with outside. If outside help is necessary, then so be it.

  • Well I got my answer, thanks. I must say I am disapointed in people. In their apathy to this issue and I'm almost to the point of thinking they deserve what is coming because of their indifference to mitigating the problem and even working on solutions on a personal level, ie setting up solar, food production ect. Oh Well.

Hope you have a nice Christmas Mr EnergyCzar.

  • Well done. People can learn a lot from you.
