I live in letters, you live in a dream. The repubs weren't out there because until last spring the economy was fine under Bush. The real estate scams by the dems in Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac started the crumbling of the housing market and the rest followed. Bush warned congress about the impending troubles, but the dems voted it down every single time. This wasn't exposed until the last several months. Plenty here blame both repubs and dems.
I don't get it , what was stupid? Just a guy hanging out before doing a broadcast - looks like every other commentator before going on during a live broadcast ??? what did I miss?
the ppl at the tea partys are true patriots and stick to the fundemental principles that our founding fathers did. Socialism doesn't work it never has. There were around 400,000 ppl involved with these tea partys
Obama has record approval numbers among democrats (somewhere in the 90% range). There is no way "a lot" of people at these things were Democrats. What Republicans are doing is repeating this "bipartisan" nonsense in regard to these events so they can give them an air of legitimacy.
When Bush borrowed 5 trillion dollars from China and doubled the deficit none of these hypocrites were in the streets then. This is nothing more than hypocritical sore losers getting together to comfort one another.
"When Bush borrowed 5 trillion dollars from China and doubled the deficit none of these hypocrites were in the streets then"
You what else is funny? I didn't see any Democrats in the streets either. I guess The Dems were just as happy with Bush spending their money as the Repubs.
To some extent, you raise a valid point. Bet then there's the phrase "the straw that broke the camel's back". Every revolution starts with a tipping point. And if you don't think there's a revolution underway, look up Gerald Celente. And make sure you look up his nearly flawless track record for trends forecasting. And don't forget about Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's recent trip to China to borrow even MORE money. Bush, Hillary, Obama, McCain, Palin, etc., ALL part of the SAME problem.
Do you really believe it's just "coincidental" that although there were 5 trillion straws before, it's the one that was put there by a Democrat that broke these Republicans' backs?
Well, since you seem to be the standard setter in regards to acceptable "breaking points", please explain to everyone on here what would be an allowable point in which to say "enough"? And, if that point has long passed, are people really supposed to remain silent just because they should have spoken up sooner but didn't? Like I've said before though, anyone at those events that currently supports McCain, Bush, Palin, Obama, Clinton, Biden, Romney, Edwards, ect. has no business being there.
Thanks for making my point about Republican hypocrisy. The Dems weren't out there then and they aren't out there now. Repubs weren't out there when Bush was doing it but they ran out as soon as a Dem was in office.
The movement behind this are The Ron Paul Republicans that were out demonstrating Bush's Policies as they would 's Obama Policies. The policy of unending war and unending domestic overspending. The ones you see now on TV are the McCain/Palin Republicans that have no business even being there since they did back Bush and are a bunch of hypocrites. But I guess The Dems don't care who's spending the money just as long as the free government money keeps flowing. So you've made my point as well.
I don't think it's so much an issue of people who voted for Bush or McCain not belonging at those Tea Party events, it's a matter of whether or not they would vote for them again if the election were today. If the answer is yes, then those people have no business being at those events. It's not about who or what someone supported last year. It's about who and what they support today and tomorrow. And anyone who thinks it's OK to impose their morals on someone else doesn't belong
The problem here is that a vast majority of these people will vote along party lines. It doesn't matter who is being pushed at the time on either side. Both Republican and Democratic leadership are to blame and bought by the special interest. There will be no one worth voting for that's pushed by the leadership. Any change will have to be forced from the ground up. Both Republicans or Democrats would rather lose an election than give up the power grip control they have on their sides of politics
You describe the situation in America exactly. And, while I am opposed to the Idea of war, there are strong indicators that a 2nd American Revolution is coming. It may be the only way to fix this country.
See that's the problem. You think you did your civic duty by voting in these clowns and then don't watch what they are voting on once elected. I'll assume you're happy with the outcome of recent elections but both sides are equally responsiple for the mess we're in. So you must be a Dem voting for Dems and then you had Repubs voting for Repubs. You just happen to have more Dems. So No, Voting didn't work in 06. It just proved WC Fields, " You really can fool some of the people all of the time."
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
For all the retards going "these republicans..." Just don't comment unless you know what the fuck you're talking about. A lot of people in the protests were Obama voters and democrats too. Unlike most of the commentators of this video, THOSE people have come to their senses. Whether Democrats are better than Republicans or not, you idiots are so fucked in the head, that your brain fails to see what's really important. There's too much spending. Normally you have more money when you SAVE! Retards
I went to alot of Republican Rallies last year selling McCain/Palin buttons and shirts. I can tell you, first hand, that the racist and offensive signs were very common at the event. The people at these Rallies like to be spoon fed hate-filled propoganda, as they don't like to think for themselves. I got so many uninformed comments from these morons. I now know why their the party of No Solutions. I love how these people had no problem with the last 8 years. Stupid Hillbillies.
Pay attention to the way the video is edited you idiots... and by the way; he's not being an ass... he has a dry and witty sense of humor. Which would be more obvious if the person who edited this video hadn't cut out the crowds response to him. I was there, I shook his hand, he is funny, friendly, and very intelligent
While I personally agree with "protesting" tax increases..........
Your movement is being hijacked by opportunists, within the corporate media spectrum, who's only god are the tv ratings...once they have succeeded in becoming the corporate-backed vanguard of your movement, they will fly your hijacked protests to its inevitable and destructive end...and this video is proof. CNN & Fox News will NOT lead the sheeple to a more free society...they are part of the problem...
@ThePsychoInsomniac you were there? So you admit he lied about the number of people then? you know, it really doesnt matter. only 15% of americans agree with the teabaggers anyways. you are still the special ed kids in high school, except you scream and drool a bit louder
Smartest comment here. The mainstream media will ignore and degrade the true revolutionary patriots. This movement was hyjacked by the rightwing. The goal here, If you want to distroy a legitimate movement, you pretend your the champion of it. Then distort it's meaning. THAT'S WHAT THE NEOCONS DID HERE.
Tea baggers = "5,000" here, 20 there, 100 over there, let's say that in a Faux News world 1,000,000 people came out. Obama Grant Park Rally 1,000,000 in one place!!! Democracy pwns the teabaggers!
You are an idiot. Of course Obama supporters are going to flock to their celebrity. They're all a bunch of mindless drones. And don't try to make assumptions about who I support, because you'll probably be wrong.
I was there and it was easily 10-15000... so unless you were there don't throw rocks. It is so amazing the twist that is happening with coverage of this day.. i stood by republicans, democrats and independents who where there to be heard!
To: "felicia6118": MOST Republicans are definitely pathetic. So are most Democrats. And you say that revolution is not brewing? That's so adorable that you would presume to try & contradict the number one trends forecaster, Gerald Celente. How does your track record for forecasting future events stand up to his? Don't bother answering. You've embarrassed yourself enough already.
Me? Embarrased? Oh Bats, you are such a tool, lol. Oh an let me guess you're now an Independent Libertarian, that seems to be what all Republicans say now. You are the perfect example of why the Republican party is diminishing. Barely any style and NO substance. I think you need to tell Fixed News, I mean Fox News to quit embarrassing themselves. Have a nice day:)
If getting news coverage from the dirt-bag FOX network means avoiding media blackout or avoiding ridicule from unprofessional juvenile reporters at CNN and other slanderous networks, then so be it.
omg! Even you know what you just wrote is bullshit, lol. Good one though. That made my day. Fixed News I mean Fox News is for racist, white old people that wish it was 1950 again. Did you know the average age of a conservative talk show listener is 67, wow. You are such a tool. It's sad really.
So, you disagree with me calling FOX "dirt-bags"? Or do you disagree with me saying FOX gave coverage of the Tea Party events on their network? Or do you disagree that it is inappropriate for supposedly professional "journalists" or "news reporters" to insult people at an event they are covering. They are there to report news, not try and manipulate public opinion by insulting people. Get back to me if you come up with something to say that has any relevance.
"They are there to report news, not try and manipulate public opinion by insulting people."-You're of course talking about Fixed News right? I thought so. Fixed News is so pathetic and one sided and the fact that you don't see that is hilarious. You point to one journalist and I point to the entire Fixed News network. As Triumph would say " Fox News swings to the right more then Ann Coulter's strap on", ROFL!
No. YOU are off-point AGAIN. There were quite a few of the liberal news reporters letting their personal agendas interfere with their job & their "professionalism". And no, d|ps#|+, I am not defending FOX. Again, your statement is inconsistent with what I'm talking about. Are you REALLY that stupid? How old are you, 12? Strike two on you bringing up something that is relevant.
My point asshole is that you don't come at me with whis journalism bullshit when you have anchors like Megan Kelly who will turn off your mic if you are making a point or cut off your video stream. Seriously? It is laughable that you wouldn't point Fox News out before CNN. You Republicans are just hypocrite assholes who fail to point out the HUGe bias on Fox News. The reason you don't want to bring up Fixed News is b/c you know they are biased. Wake up you hypocritical fool.
Look kid, don't make assumptions. It exposes your intellectual shortcomings. I'm well aware of FOX news bias. They did more than their fair share to shut down Ron Paul's presidential campaign between their belittling of him and their frequent refusal to give him news coverage. In a FOX primary debate last year they excluded Ron Paul & included candidates who were trailing BEHIND Ron Paul. It is not news media's job to manipulate America's political system. Exactly what CNN & others did Wed.
Well you're intellectual shortcomings are exposed as well since you're arguments are filled with nothing more then subjectivity. Now, I will agree with you on the Ron Paul issue,if Republicans were smart, they would have endorsed him, I am from Texas and I do agree with some of his policies and I feel he got a raw deal.
It is not about who a voter endorsed or supported last year. Or what a voter approved of or objected to last year. Only a fool dwells on the past*. It is about where the voter truly stands today & tomorrow. And ANYONE who thinks a "mainstream" politician, Obama in this case, is going to fix what is wrong with this country is suffering from severe delusions. And I am completely aware that there are some current neocon supporters at those Tea Party events, and they have no business being there.
*Though the past record for a voter doesn't matter, the past record for a politician DOES matter, it is the only real way to tell what kind of person the politician is. That, and their ties and affiliations. You certainly can't go by campaign BS, unless their words today match up to their past.
Almost none of our representatives actually represent us unless it fits with their agenda. Last fall Dianne Feinstein received over 91,000 calls about the "bailout bill". about 85,000 of those calls were in opposition to the bill. She voted in favor despite this. Many of our "representatives" all over America also disregarded the wishes of the voters in regards to this bill. That is not what I call "representation".
Funny because I remember seeing Ron Paul featured on both Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck (while he was at CNN) and they were both very fair to him. Don't even play this game that CNN is as biased as Fox. Seriously.
When all else fails, when you've proven yourself to have no grounds or no argument, pull the race card. It's the last refuge for the weak minded. The average republican today is full of s#|+ when they say they are conservative. They don't know and YOU obviously don't have any clue what a conservative actually is. Even Vladamir Putin knows Obama's socialist programs are a disaster. And he WOULD know about socialism. Obama's not fixing a DAMN thing Bush did. Obama's continuing Bush's screwy plans.
Oh here we go. It's funny that a lot of Republicans are now considering themselves Independent Libertarians, lol. Saying that Obama is a socialist b/c he is raising taxes on the rich by 3% shows you offer nothing more then subjectivity. It shows you are no more informed then those morons at those teabagging parties who complain about taxes yet couldn't even tell you what " taxation without representaion" is. You sir are a fool and a tool.
my god that is an ugly man. isnt it true the fatter u are the smaller your dick gets? or is that just an illusion. who knows.

@ThePsychoInsomniac
I guess that's why you think you're being dry and witty, when everyone else thinks you're an ass.

@ThePsychoInsomniac His lame ass "sense of humor" is a reflection of his inner being. HE IS A FUCKING ASSHHOLE.

"The revolution will not be televised! "

I don't like Cavuto, but to be fair the clip is edited and he didn't give an "official number".
I can't stand him, and no I'm not a Republican.

Amazing how the crowd estimate of 5000 magically jumped to 15,000.
pobox406 2 years ago 5
5000 is a hell of a lot of pissed off voters!
jamie1974 2 years ago
Tea baggers = "5,000" here, 20 there, 100 over there, let's say that in a Faux News world 1,000,000 people came out. Obama Grant Park Rally 1,000,000 in one place!!! Democracy pwns the teabaggers!

You are an idiot. Of course Obama supporters are going to flock to their celebrity. They're all a bunch of mindless drones. And don't try to make assumptions about who I support, because you'll probably be wrong.

I was there it was 15,000

oh, that was you counting...
BitWrecker 2 years ago 2
I was there and it was easily 10-15000... so unless you were there don't throw rocks. It is so amazing the twist that is happening with coverage of this day.. i stood by republicans, democrats and independents who where there to be heard!

Shut the hell up, moron. Quit trying to act like some Revolution is brewing, lol. These Republicans are pathetic. It is fun to watch though.
felicia6118 2 years ago 3
To: "felicia6118": MOST Republicans are definitely pathetic. So are most Democrats. And you say that revolution is not brewing? That's so adorable that you would presume to try & contradict the number one trends forecaster, Gerald Celente. How does your track record for forecasting future events stand up to his? Don't bother answering. You've embarrassed yourself enough already.
BatsBasilica 2 years ago
Me? Have a nice day:)
felicia6118 2 years ago
If getting news coverage from the dirt-bag FOX network means avoiding media blackout or avoiding ridicule from unprofessional juvenile reporters at CNN and other slanderous networks, then so be it.
BatsBasilica 2 years ago
omg! Even you know what you just wrote is bullshit, lol. Good one though. That made my day. Fixed News I mean Fox News is for racist, white old people that wish it was 1950 again. Did you know the average age of a conservative talk show listener is 67, wow. You are such a tool. It's sad really.
felicia6118 2 years ago
"felicia6118":
BatsBasilica 2 years ago
"They are there to report news, not try and manipulate public opinion by insulting people."-You're of course talking about Fixed News right? I thought so. Fixed News is so pathetic and one sided and the fact that you don't see that is hilarious. You point to one journalist and I point to the entire Fixed News network. As Triumph would say " Fox News swings to the right more then Ann Coulter's strap on", ROFL!
felicia6118 2 years ago
BatsBasilica 2 years ago
My point asshole is that you don't come at me with whis journalism bullshit when you have anchors like Megan Kelly who will turn off your mic if you are making a point or cut off your video stream. Seriously? It is laughable that you wouldn't point Fox News out before CNN. You Republicans are just hypocrite assholes who fail to point out the HUGe bias on Fox News. The reason you don't want to bring up Fixed News is b/c you know they are biased. Wake up you hypocritical fool.
felicia6118 2 years ago
Look kid, don't make assumptions. It exposes your intellectual shortcomings. I'm well aware of FOX news bias. They did more than their fair share to shut down Ron Paul's presidential campaign between their belittling of him and their frequent refusal to give him news coverage. In a FOX primary debate last year they excluded Ron Paul & included candidates who were trailing BEHIND Ron Paul. It is not news media's job to manipulate America's political system. Exactly what CNN & others did Wed.
BatsBasilica 2 years ago
Well you're intellectual shortcomings are exposed as well since you're arguments are filled with nothing more then subjectivity. Now, I will agree with you on the Ron Paul issue,if Republicans were smart, they would have endorsed him, I am from Texas and I do agree with some of his policies and I feel he got a raw deal.
felicia6118 2 years ago
It is not about who a voter endorsed or supported last year. Or what a voter approved of or objected to last year. Only a fool dwells on the past*. It is about where the voter truly stands today & tomorrow. And ANYONE who thinks a "mainstream" politician, Obama in this case, is going to fix what is wrong with this country is suffering from severe delusions. And I am completely aware that there are some current neocon supporters at those Tea Party events, and they have no business being there.
BatsBasilica 2 years ago
*Though the past record for a voter doesn't matter, the past record for a politician DOES matter, it is the only real way to tell what kind of person the politician is. That, and their ties and affiliations. You certainly can't go by campaign BS, unless their words today match up to their past.
BatsBasilica 2 years ago
Almost none of our representatives actually represent us unless it fits with their agenda. Last fall Dianne Feinstein received over 91,000 calls about the "bailout bill". about 85,000 of those calls were in opposition to the bill. She voted in favor despite this. Many of our "representatives" all over America also disregarded the wishes of the voters in regards to this bill. That is not what I call "representation".
BatsBasilica 2 years ago
Funny because I remember seeing Ron Paul featured on both Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck (while he was at CNN) and they were both very fair to him. Don't even play this game that CNN is as biased as Fox. Seriously.
TheKhloeKardashian 2 years ago
When all else fails, when you've proven yourself to have no grounds or no argument, pull the race card. It's the last refuge for the weak minded. The average republican today is full of s#|+ when they say they are conservative. They don't know and YOU obviously don't have any clue what a conservative actually is. Even Vladamir Putin knows Obama's socialist programs are a disaster. And he WOULD know about socialism. Obama's not fixing a DAMN thing Bush did. Obama's continuing Bush's screwy plans.
BatsBasilica 2 years ago
Oh here we go. It's funny that a lot of Republicans are now considering themselves Independent Libertarians, lol. Saying that Obama is a socialist b/c he is raising taxes on the rich by 3% shows you offer nothing more then subjectivity. It shows you are no more informed then those morons at those teabagging parties who complain about taxes yet couldn't even tell you what " taxation without representaion" is. You sir are a fool and a tool.
