I've mainly only seen him wearing makeup like that on album covers and stuff like that.  I have no idea how long he's been wearing makeup like that for, but I think it was since before he because Marilyn Manson's guitarist while he was a session guitarist in L.A. Once again, however, I'm not sure.

John5 is a near phenom that made the likes of Marilyn Manson.

Just like Jake E Lee with Ozzy.... were it not for the great talent next to the microphone, there would be little to listen to.

Take Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth for instance. Eddie could stand alone but Dave needs a good guitar to survive.
