  • This was the WORST movie ever!!!! there was like 30 people who came into the show when i was there i decided to dumb wise stay and see if it could get any better! it got worse at then end me and 1 other person was left, people were leaving all through the show demandin their money back! Horrible show Chevy looked bored just a paycheck, Randy wasnt used right at all casting and Ackroyd acted dumb and boring it had a chance but the director or producer made it sooooo bad worse move ever and ever

  • Hate to sound old but, those were the days.............everything was different.

  • I can't believe you didn't mention TOP GUN....That was his greatest success!!

  • got this movie .cool movie

  • I wonder what happened the 80's had excellent music then when the 90's hit and these grunge idiots and rap crappers took over music went to shit

  • Great song, when I was a kid I used to get this song mixed up with Foreigner's "Say You Will" (which came out a few months earlier), this song IMO is hell lot better than "Footloose"

  • This tune was the best part of this horrible movie!

  • Un genio el Kenny!!

tema del 88' si no me faya el coco...

  • Love this song. It has such a distinct 80's rock sound, yet it still remains very enjoyable to this day.

  • ty for posting this babe!

  • Hit #8 in Billboard. God bless!

  • Loggins is the real deal!

  • wow, that was 1988!!!!!!!

  • I have this movie

  • Kenny was the king of rock soundtracks back in the 80's & rightfully so. Altogether he made about a dozen songs for 5 different movies - Caddyshack 1 & 2, Footloose, Over the Top & Rocky 4. They were all great but this one was my favorite of them all. I only wished it had gotten a little more airplay on the radio. If you guys like this song, checkout Kenny's 1988 "Back in Avalon" cd. This song is on there & it has lots of great energetic pop songs like this one.

  • Whups! How could I forget Top Gun??? Ok, make that 6 movies.

  • highway to the danger zoneeeee

  • If kenny was king of soundtracks jonathan silverman was king of the comedies. This and weekend at bernies are the funniest films ever. Plus have you seen the chick hes with nowadays. Him and lawrence fishburne must pray to the devil to get women that fine.

  • @vodude

    Can't forget Top Gun

  • @zfloid44 Yep, you're absolutely right. How could I forget that one?

  • Great Motivation Song

  • i agree

  • Great song thanks for posting. I'm using it tonight in hopes of firing up my fantasy teams LOL

  • love this song

  • this song has been in my head for the past few weeks, so i decided to look it up. thanks for posting it.

    back to the shack..

  • Great Kenny song, totally forgot about this until I watched Caddy Shack 2. Hopefully this song will fire up my fantasy teams LOL. Thanks for posting the song.

  • agreed.

  • good old song but better quality video needed

  • Great song! The Caddy shack sequel was pretty good too!

  • the only thing good about the caddy sequel was this song

  • I own this movie on Vhs

  • One of the BEST songs of the 80's!

The 80's is the best DECADE in music!

  • Damn right! The 80s was the best time for this kind of stuff. I'm thinkin about doin' a montage using this track!

  • @blueplague888 do it i 'll watch and i will thoroughly enjoy it oh and by the way the '80's ROCKED

  • @collinb21

Thanks collin! And I agree...the 80s was a magical time for music! I've still got this track and the rest of the soundtrack on my player at home. Besides this one, I also like the track called 'Turn it Up'.

  • Awesome song! But it would be nice if the audio and video had better clarity though.

  • Sweet the original video!!! =D

    80's!!!!!!

  • This song is off of an AMAZING album, "Back To Avalon". The whole thing is brilliant. A must have for Kenny loggins fans.

  • Wow I might be one of the only people in this world who Likes this movie and the funny thing is i have never seen the first 1 but, I think i might

  • @talentaziam, you're not the only one. I've never seen the first movie either (although I know it's considered a classic). I too enjoy the second movie, I have a lot of fond memories associated with it. The song is fantastic too. It's on my list of "Kick-Ass 80's songs from the movies." (Along with "Secret of My Success" by Night Ranger and "Glory of Love" by Peter Cetera.)

  • Great Song, bad movie,if Rodney Dangerfield was in it,and Bill Murray,it might of been better.

  • randy quaid is fuckin hilarious in this film -great song by the way - he has better vox range than JBJovi and Bryan Adams

  • Great song, horrible movie. This video would lead you to believe that Chevy Chase played a major role in this movie but I think the video captures his entire appearance in the film.

  • Yeah I know,Jackie Mason and Robert Stack really sucked in this film.Randy Quaid was the only good thing, and Chase.

  • Agreed. Loggins' best songs, in my opinion:

    This is It

    Keep the Fire

    Nobody's Fool

    Heart to Heart

    in that order.

  • don't forget "i'm alright!"

  • The chorus gives me the creeps everytime i hear it. Absolutely awsome!!!

  • amazing range. the chorus is extremely challenging for even a strong tenor. Loggins ability to consistently pitch and tone throughout such a chorus is uncanny. Very challenging stuff and a gorgeous melody keeps you hooked until the coda.

  • Huh. I loaded my mp3-dubbed version of this vid about a year ago and it was yanked within 2 days by the dunderwads at Warner Bros.

  • great song!!!

  • the movie sucked but this song was great. much overlooked song but it's one of my favorites.

  • How was it much overlooked? It went top ten on the charts and receives a fair amount of radio play which is more than I can say for the movie.

  • i don't remember it being played on the radio very often and it didn't make it to his best of album.

  • Unsurprising. People were going through Loggins Overload, and the album it was on, "Back to Avalon," was all but completely dissed by radio. Ironically, the biggest hit from it was "Meet Me Half Way," and that was actually a bonus track on the CD.

But it was definitely a good start to an unfairly criticized album. AFAIC, "Back to Avalon" was the last good album Kenny made.

  • I like how the VH-1 logo had had the "Records" covered, LOL, that brought me back memories!

  • Awesome song. Used it in one of my vids.

  • awesome

  • I think what I liked best was the 1/2 second clip of the video for "Family Man" by Hall and Oates at the very end.

  • Kenny doesn't really look like he's into it.

  • Yeah, he probably wanted to get it in as few takes as possible, then get the hell out of there and get his paycheck.

  • WOW! I've been looking for this video. Haven't seen this since the late 80's. I just knew i saw the video to this song before. Great post dude or dude'et. I just hope somone post a high quality version of it here. Full stereo and crisp high res video.

  • WOW! been looking for this kenny loggins music video i knew I've seen this before; havent seen this since the late 80's. I just knew I saw the video to this song. I just hope someone post a high quality video of it here. Full stereo crisp video resolution.

  • Great tune... too bad it's forever linked with such an awful flick

  • Thanks for posting this. It's a great video with great camera angles.
