@EfternamnetTell The story is that you play as the Point Man in the game and he is trying to figure out how to stop Alma, but he soon comes to realize that he is the son of Alma and Paxton is his brother, Harlan took both babies away from Alma and now she got mad and died at a young age and is trying to get out.

ok alot of people dont understand why shes trying to kill you. shes trying to kill you because she had her sons which is paxton and (you) the player taken from her when she was 15 at the time she gave birth and when she was imprisoned she died while in the chamber and her spirit still wanderd on. The only way she could get her sons back is through death which she belives as well killing the people apart of the origin project hopw this clears a few things up :)

Actually FEAR 2 takes place in the past of the first FEAR game and the expansion pack. Its Kinda fucking confusing when you play the expansion pack, but FEAR 2 explains everything in a more clear picture. Maybe the sargent in Perseus Mandate is Beckett when he was older. Of course its just a guess.
