What ratio? Looked like a relatively complete det to me. PNNM is pretty weak really even in the higher NM ratios. It's brisance is also very low as u saw. Try PNNMAL I was much more impressed with it. The power was less than UNNM or ANNM but not largely. In the higher PN ratios the power dramatically decreased however. I found 60:25:15 was pretty powerful.

No, you jackass. KNO3 is not even an explosive, it just acts as oxygen donor for nitromethane. It is about 1/2 the power of ANNM......just a bit more powerful than flash powder.
@dawson01912 i know its peroxide but its tetramer form. You dont use sulphuric acid as catalyst but Tin chloride which causes creation of tetramer form of ap during synthesis
Well, technically NM itself is detonatable. I assume that PNNM would be harder to intiate than ANNM, so what was used here was pretty good and I wouldn't make it any less. I dislike the use of the AP cap though. I would look into changing that to something safer.
@Arterisser I would never trust AP, tetramer or trimer. It's notorious to be unpredictable in both states and it's frankly not worth your fingers. Why not use a silver primary? They're much less sensitive and they're not even really expensive.
this stuff looks great :-) i have never seen anyone else detonating this stuff i was told KN03 was unable to detonate ..... obviously they were very very wrong lol.
@Arterisser ahh i see and now that brings me to your very ingenious idea ........ using christmas lights has a igniter for your caps :-) i noticed in the anfo video lol.
@Arterisser ON THE SUBJECT OF KN03 i found that if you take 1/4 gram of hmtd and place it on top of some KN03, the self contained hmtd actually detonates the nitrate.
i know this from an experiment last night. i dont fully understand it though so im not going to test it furthur untill im sure that it was the self confinment that detonated the nitrate or maybe it was a bad reaction. but it didnt work consistently.
bad explosive use potassiulm chlorate mixed with sugar and add 20% nitromethane

Yeah, 10g pressed PETN with 2g TATP would do this kind of damage on their own. Hummm.....I'm sure pnnmal would work much better.
