if the episcopal minister had the right matter, form(trinitarian), and intention(must be the same as the Catholic Church) than your baptism was indeed valid. the traditional doctrine infact is that even a heretic and a schismatic can validly baptise if they have the right matter, form and intention...
the quiestion remains whether the episcopal minister that baptised you had the right/valid intention or not..
Vitiello180 : How come I did not see Exorcism with the use of Exorcism salt? How come I did not hear this Catacumen renounce satan and all his works? If I am mistaken, please kindly point me out to that segment. I am trying to bring a filthy Iranian Muslin queer who is oppressed by the spirit of lies and homosexuality to the TRUE FAITH. In fact, I had been taking to Church, but I had to send him away because of his queer sickness, and hitting on me. He has since been attending Novus Ordo.
No, I am not (at present) SedeVecantist, but I have thought about it in the past, currently I attend the Society of Saint Pius X. This baptism was done by a local diocesan priest, instructed by an FSSP priest. I did attend the SSPX before this baptism, but I had logistical problems. Not to mention that a certain FSSP priest lied to me about the SSPX not being in communion with Rome etc.
Congratulations! I am glad to see someone else has also seen the errors of the Modern Novus Ordo priests. Seek refuge in the Traditional Rite of the Church and you will find the true Sacraments, true grace, and the possibility of everlasting life. Laudetur Jesus Christus
@Moneybags916 just remember that the new rite is valid, and our current pope is valid, and that the problems with the "spirit of V2", are in fact being fixed...we must not seperate ourselves from Rome
@Winaska The problems in the Church are not ones around appearance and if the Mass looks "pretty." The man who sits on the Throne of St. Peter and those around him profess beliefs that are not Catholic - beliefs that even are heretical.
@Winaska The words of the Archbishop Lefebvre of JPII referring to the Assisi scandal: “He who now sits upon the Throne of Peter mocks publicly the first article of the Creed and the first Commandment of the Decalogue. The scandal given to Catholic souls cannot be measured. The Church is shaken to its very foundation."
It is not a Cape, a Cape is the vestment worn by a Sub-Deacon at a High Mass.
The vestment that you are describing is an Armas (not sure if spelt correctly). The Armas, is white, symbolising innocence, and purity, by baptism all my sins (whether Original Sin, Mortal Sin, or Venial Sin), have been wiped clean. This is why is worn after the actual baptism.
Ah, I see. In the Orthodox church, adults (and babies, but it's more remarkable with adults) wear a long white robe. Considering that this is traditional catholic, I was suprised not to see a baptismal robe.
Unreleated, the comments for this video have gotten quite ugly since I was last here.
I did exactly the same, I was baptized under the new rite and my priest did a conditional baptism under the old rite, is extremely important, specially since the Vatican II Church doesn't believe in many Catholic dogmas, and some times I even ask my self If Modernist priest really has the intentions to baptized, since many of them believe that the you can be saved outside of the Catholic Church.
I don't need consuling. It's the Novus Ordo priests which need to go back to seminary. And to one which does not teach the Modern Errors of the Vatican II religion, but one which teaches the Authentic Catholic Truth.
Some of our converts from Evangelical, SDA, Jehovah Witness were never baptize. But after reading your information there it really made me think twice.

So are you sedevecantist? Or did you just choose to pick the old rite to re do all your sacraments because you prefer the extraordinary form?

@Vitiello180 Ah, thank you. Why not wear a full white robe then? (Sorry , I'm orthodox, not too up on catholic vestments).
0vGilo0 1 year ago
@Vitiello180 Actually the sub deacon wears is a dalmanic. Its amice and priest are the ones who were them

@0vGilo0 Looks like an Amice, substituting (no doubt) for a larger robe that would have been worn before.

This Old Rite follows the Eastern Orthodox tradition as well. It is much better than the dumbed down new rite.

Vatican II ruined the Rite of Baptism. The Novus Ordo Newchurch is full of errors. Vitiello180 is correct!
