Hi..sorry for late reply...although the Canon 1014-XLS has an in camera dissolve function I am afraid this was not in camera...I used an editor for the dissolve. The Canon super 8 cameras are superb in my opinion. I look forward to seeing your films shot on your 514...an excellent camera.

Wow, Was that an in camera dissolve at 1:28. I have the Cannon 514 and have yet to show stuff on here that I took last year.
