@ToastToGo extra special tip if ur looking for saddle bags; these same bags are now even cheaper at amazon. I know ur plans for special designed toast bags so u prolly arent looking to buy any but thought id mention it just in case. ;) and as 4 this summer; my prediction is that youll do the one trip again to the snooze-arcks and nothing but me saying that might fuel ur stubbornness 2 get u outta ur cave more but i doubt it. Unless im just saying i doubt it 2 get u 2 do more. Hmm ;P
@woodenchairs Lol...well. I already have my saddles bags that I will be using for my future trips. If I do need any more bags, I think it would be a new tail type bag...but I believe with my new saddle bags I will have ample amount of storage space, so I wouldn't need a larger tail bag than I already have.
Me too. Im definitely missing them now when i cant ride with all this snow on the ground especially. I did over 7k miles just traveling this past summer so its def killing me to not be able to ride right now.
Nah, i didnt forget its just impractical. When i started out to AZ i had snack bars with me but i ate them before i was even into Illinois. lol
Besides, the GPS has all the food places in it. You just click on food and then pick the kind of food you want or even spell the name of the place and it will show you a list of places close by. :D So food is always easiy to find. lol
1:22 I SEE AN IPASS!!! AHAHAHAHAHA! The greedy Illinois toll commissions strike again! In all seriousness now, I find that interesting. Do you commute through IL often?
I left that in there purposely to see if anyone caught or recognized it. Im originally from Illinois so i used to use it all the time but now that ive moved its only a few times a year when i visit home.
It def helps a lot and its not expensive. Just make sure you watch jims vid response to this because he shows how the cramp buster can be missused. I didnt go into that because i showed that mine isnt far enough down to defeat the return spring
True dat but i have to admit that Billys got a good point. If the bags arent secured well you'll lose it all and never know it came off. Thats why i did so much to secure the tail bag as well as possible. Lotta peeps just bungee around the middle and they lose everything. (:
I love those saddle bags. Been using them for 2 nights to work and back: best purchase I've made in a while. Net book also fits in there extremely well.
riiiiiiight, da mom already said no so you wont be making it out here but im totally ready to come out there. in fact, if Toast wasnt taking this trip camping id be preparing to leave next week to come out there. (:
If i thought you were gonna make it i woulda talked about packing bears for long trips. :P
I do my math right, that entire set up on your floor set you back about a hundred bucks...that's traveling on a budget my friend..I couldn't have pulled this off...my tank bag cost more than that..=(
But I see that you have some Pantene, the secret is out how you get that luxurious hair...
my dad invented a toothbrush like that with toothpaste in it to dispense and no one accepted it to patent it. Now look there's portable brushes everywhere.
Times change i guess and things that wouldnt be popular then are now. Lotta TV shows and movies are like that too if you think about it.
Plus they're always trying to put the small guy down who has an innovative idea. Change is hard for people to accept. Try getting your g-parents on the net for example. :/ lol
Not really actually. I thought it out beforehand and it all worked out fine. Its crossed my mind to talk about what didnt work in a seperate vid tho but that was really only one thing. I also left out some stuff i wanted to include but it was either that or make another boring vid about packing. ;P lol
I always appreciate your comments my friend! Def glad if this helps you or anyone else. Thanks. :D
The walmart saddlebags i showed in this vid do work on the 250 ninja. Zmagic got them for his 250 after we talked on the phone about these bags. He told me hes really happy with them yesterday.
lol i wasnt sure on whether to include the body spray part or not because i had left out several things i wanted to talk about already but u do end up wearing clothes more than once and u are out in the open air all day sweating so a little shot of that can help i think. I def sprayed it on my clothes.
Thank you sir. Very much appreciated! :D Im soooo ready to come out there. Honestly, if Toasty wasnt leaving on that camping trip pretty soon id be getting ready and leaving at the beginning of next week. :D
Theres a few things in the top of the bag that are shown there. I wanted to cover some of it but i either had to not or make 2 boringass vids about packing. ;p lol
Thanks. I had to have that toothbrush when i saw it. :D lol
Informative video, and thanks for the shout. :) Where did you get that toothbrush? I would love to get one of those for when I got camping for a few days in a couple weeks. I didn't think about getting travel size stuff, so I'm gonna have to make a trip to Walmart! I'm gonna be doing the same thing as you, strapping a duffel bag across my rear seat instead of buying a tail bag. Loved the toast at the end :)
Almost everything in this vid is from walmart including the happy fun sized switchblade toothbrush. :D All that stuff is in the "trial and travel" section of walmart.
The bungee straps are also from walmart in the camping section.
The toast was part of the shout for you my friend! :D Plus you did ask me to do the vid so it was your idea so a tribute was in order. (:
I sure wish you were done with that trip already so i could hit the road to meet up. Im so stoked to travel and meet right now!
We know you use those bags for your live dolls. but it's okay, if I had all that room I would too.
you should review your live dolls :D, maybe strap one, or just use a blow up doll since live dolls are expensive, on the back of your motorcycle and ride around town and tape peoples reactions.
lol i love that thing! Saves room, doesnt get my bag wet if the brush is wet, and it saves space. Plus i can play switch blade pirate if i get bored. :P lol
Yeah that was covered in billmaas vid where he met me and handed me the chicken. My jacket goes slightly up my arm only when im riding on the highway and i dont wear guantlet style gloves so i end up with a "wristband tan" as billmaa calls it unless i put on sunscreen.
When you were talking about running out of gas I thought you were talking about my Vlogfail. Thank god there is another person who ran out of gas Vloggin! Now I feel less mentally handicapped.
lol Nah, he didnt run out of gas, he got lost right in a vid he did. lol Besides, i actually shot that part of this vid before i saw your vlog where you ran out of gas. I was picking on vanfly because he gets lost all the time. lol
Thanks. I tried to make a boring packing/informational vid like this as watchable as possible but theres only so much funny stuff you can do to a boring info video to make it entertaining. lol So yeah, sorry its not one of my more entertaining vids but hopefully it will help some people wanting to travel onna budget. (:
handy fun size :) , Axe ? looks like the same stuff in the UK but called Lynx , I like the new Lynx bullet deo spray, they are tiny sized but handy for saving packing space.
Yeah Axe is well known here but ive never heard of Lynx. Its prolly the same product but for some reason some businesses change the names for different countries. Ive never understood that but the sales people think one word will sell better in one country and not another i guess.
PS, you rule.

Great tips! Hard to find any saddle bags for the Ninja 250... The turn signals are too awkwardly placed.
We have the same toothbrush!
Travel size FTW!
And, yes, body spray FTW, too....
