What I like about Jackie Chan is that he is different from the others like Bruce lee and Jet li.

Jackie always plays funny roles of seemingly average people who just happens to be good at martial arts while Bruce and Jet always play Overpowered serious characters that you cant land a finger on.

So Jackie is definitely more realistic.

I actually find this kind of choreography quite boring. It is always this 1-2,1-2 instead of flowing movemements, and stances/arm positions/distance do not matter. Anything works. The 'martial' is there, but the 'art' is not. It is impressive from a physical point of view, but there is no substance to it. If you have seen one of these scenes, you have seen them all. Not so with Bruce Lee's choreography.

@geocloser I love jackie Chan films, in fact, I love most Kung Fu films, but he's just such a master of his craft! I mean, I couldn't even imagine doing the stunts he does with such ease, did you know he's been severely hurt multiple times on the sets of films? I learned all about it in this documentary Films of Fury: The Kung Fu Movie Movie; along with a bunch of other history about Kung Fu cinema. You should check it out sometime if you enjoy Kung Fu movies like I do!
