Halo wars 2 please! So much ideas have been passed if they do make halo wars 2! I want it to just be a game play based game. Nothing to much on the story...
here are some of my favorites but keep coming up with sweet ideas:
Variable anti units. Having anti air - air units is a bit annoying as in a battle they contradict each other! maybe have 2 different anti air? one being infantry and another being air or so forth.

Actually, if you read the books, cortana was kind of cloned from Halsey. now with Cortana being an AI cloned isn't really the right word. She was more "copied". It says that most AIs are created by the electronic programming of a human brain into binary. Cortana(and her "sister") were created when they did this process on Halsey. This is the first and only (mentioned) time that a living persons brain was used to create an AI.
@pipes9210 Harvest was already glassed when they left, the only reason they took it back is because they can re-terraform it. the covenant has never actualy completely glassed a planet. even when glassed it takes 130 years for a planet to return back to its intended state. read the books and visit halopedian and it will tell you everything.

Everything boils and burns until nothing is left but a material similar to sand/glass, the only reason why Reach managed to be terraformed was likely because humanity discovered the technology after the war (as Halo Evolutions: The return hints at).
For future reference to everyone, Forge was already in his fourties or so when this game took place, and this game takes place twenty years before Halo 1, it is physically impossible for Forge to be Master Chief as the chief was still only a teenager or something around this time..
while i really liked this game it really doesn't fit into the halo universe. according to the books the covenant glassed harvest and than the unsc sent a small armada to take it back but the fleet was destroyed except for one ship so although they did take back harvest all they got was basically a lump of coal
i watched whole your walkthrough; in the begining you didn't play good but during the game you made progress, i would like to thank you for presenting whole battles, i know it was hard play but your walkthrough is excellent job, good luck
i dont get why the campaign didnt have anything to do with brutes at all, and they put brute chief leader in multiplayer online as a character to use. the storyline was epic and cool tho. nice game :)

@ShadowSoldior Well, bungie had something to do with it. IThe characters and stuff are Bungie's. And I'm guessing they've watched over the guys at Ensemble while they were making the game. I just got done with the campaign, it's pretty good! I'm usually more into some PC RTS's (occasionally), and was interested on how it played. It was actually very good, and a must check for any Halo Fan! Plus, the RTS elements are simple and the missions are original! It's a load of fun!
@Slimshadow457 No, none of Bungie's characters were in the game. I'm pretty sure Bungie didn't create the space marine. Perhaps you haven't heard but Microsoft had bought the rights to the Halo franchise before they made this, as long as they do not include any of the actual characters from Bungies games such as Master Chief, Johnson, (Their) Arbiter etc then Microsoft can do whatever they want with the universe.
@darkninjamandelta Ensemble is gone, man. They were shut down a few years ago by Microsoft. Halo Wars didn't sell very good because so many idiots bought it without knowing anything about it and then returned it because it wasn't an FPS with Master Chief in it.
Spartan-II equal Elite Majors from a Physical point of view (skill, agility, accuracy, strenght) althought all Elites are at least a foot taller than Spartans.
You must also take in consideration that Spartan-II's received augmentation procedures that bolstered their mental and physical capabalities. This combined with the MJOLNIR series armor is indeed comparable to an Elite Major.
You don't seem to understand that the human race in this game is like over five centuries older than us, we don't have spartans or hornets or Pelicans. Hell we don't have any kind of space-traveling vessels period. Meanwhile the Covenant has all of their alien-super intelligence ans size and better weapons. We'd all die.
really, if life was a movie, this would be the theme of when ensemble died... I seriously almost cried the first time i saw that final message and the sad music combined, and then the ominous 3 dots after "End Transmission" ... they were one of my fav. gaming studios
John is about 12 at Harvest and is at Ceti (Spartan Armory) to get his armor. There HE meets the Covenant for the first time. He goes out into space in his new armor and boards the Covenant vessel. They blow it up but sustain heavy Spartan loses. Now theres only 20 Spartans left. Cheif is the "Chief" and Cortana is cloned from Dr. Halsey.
Dude the Master Cheif's name is John. He was born on the Outer Colonies and brought into the UNSC for experimentation along with about another 300 kids. They went through testing and half that number died. Then they went through biological testing and half of those (spartans) died. That leaves around 80 Spartans left. Over the years fighting before Harvest (The Colonial Wars) around another 40 died. 40 Spartans are left to fight AFTER Harvest.

dude on fall of reach, blue team was split up cos john chose to sort out the orbital guns and just before that kurt was joined to the blue team, he and kelly where on onyx (as i said in my other post correct me if im wrong) and john was on delta halo blowing it up.

if you were a real halo fan, you would know that the red team from halo wars is still three of the 30 or so left in 2525 right after they got their armour, reach was 25+ years after that in the books they didnt even mention red team still being alive on ghost of onyx peoples and master chief

There are Seven Spartans left. Four in cry from Team Katana. It is unknown what has become of Group Omega or Grey Team The new book Cole Protocole should shed light on Grey Team. In reality Spartans go out with a bang. If they're going to die then they will do whatever they can to futhur the mission. Like Kirk blowing himself up with the Covenant army. As for the S-1s, they're a dying breed.
There are over 280 spartans left mate. If you're counting Spartan III's. We don't know what happened to the rest of Gamma Team, so for all we know there could be a good 280 Spartan-III's still alive.
Then there's Fred, Kelly, Linda, John, the Halo Wars Spartans, and a couple others of whom's names escape me at the moment from the Spartan-II program.
There are also three UNKNOWN Spartan-II's that complete training and got their armor, as the name roster currently comes 3 short of the known #.

u dont age in cryo sleep. u are frozen in it, it freezes all your body cells so they stop working, only when u thaw out do u age normally, when your cells reactivate =D
yes, it's difficult to do because if you make the body to cold the cells burst because the water inside of them expands as it freezes, or if you over came that, you know how you sometimes get freezerburn on your steak? well...
anyway I don't know of anyone who ever went into a cryofreeze longterm(several months) and thawing out alive, but I heard you can keep someone who been hurt so bad they would die in a few minutes for almost 2 days, I forget at what temperature
alright,forge is a marine sergent he has nothing to do with the spartan program.the whole point of the spartan program is to use biologic suits to make a super solder.forge is wearing regular marine armor.without the suits that the spartans wear they cant be called spartans
The suits that they developed were prototypes for the S-IIs. By the time they had people test those suits, the S-II program had already began.
The people who tested those suits weren't S-I's, just regular marines.
When the Spartan I's were trained, they didn't have any special suits designed for them at the time. Sgt. Johnson is a Spartan I, and he was still alive at this time.
forge is no type of spartan at all in his early years he was a veteran and was sent to jail for fighting an officer.When he got out he was personally picked by the captain of the spirit of fire.and it continues in the game.
You can't prove he isn't a Spartan I. Spartan I's didn't have special armor, Sgt. Johnson is a Spartan I for example. He doesn't wear any 'special' kind of armor.
But you can't prove he is one either, not enough is known about him.
besides when they made the spartan 1s,people died from being crushed to death by the suits. thats y it was shut down and then they made the spartan 2s,which is were the maser chief comes in, read the books
because the others are lost - in the ghosts of onyx book they are trapped inside the planet, and its a metaphor, it is to help moral. if spartans died and everyone knew about it, then all hope would be given up, because they are super soldiers who have lived through countless battles and won.
Halo Wars beats any RTS games out there by a long shot. Command and Conquer isnt bad; great concept, but crappy story line; nothing solid. The music composer that put together the ending Credit Walk Through of Halo Wars did a nice job along with his other tracks that you hear through out the game. False, 75 children were kidnapped for the Spartan-II Program. Augmentation procedures killed 30 of them and crippled 12 of them, leaving only 33 to continue with the rest of the procedures.

dude on fall of reach, blue team was split up cos john chose to sort out the orbital guns and just before that kurt was joined to the blue team, he and kelly where on onyx (as i said in my other post correct me if im wrong) and john was on delta halo blowing it up.

if you were a real halo fan, you would know that the red team from halo wars is still three of the 30 or so left in 2525 right after they got their armour, reach was 25+ years after that in the books they didnt even mention red team still being alive on ghost of onyx peoples and master chief

Cortana is cloned from halsey. Master Cheif probably isnt as old as forge, and the Spirit of Fire probably never even made it back to human civilisation.

There are Seven Spartans left. Four in cry from Team Katana. It is unknown what has become of Group Omega or Grey Team The new book Cole Protocole should shed light on Grey Team. In reality Spartans go out with a bang. If they're going to die then they will do whatever they can to futhur the mission. Like Kirk blowing himself up with the Covenant army. As for the S-1s, they're a dying breed.

There are over 280 spartans left mate. If you're counting Spartan III's. We don't know what happened to the rest of Gamma Team, so for all we know there could be a good 280 Spartan-III's still alive.
Then there's Fred, Kelly, Linda, John, the Halo Wars Spartans, and a couple others of whom's names escape me at the moment from the Spartan-II program.
There are also three UNKNOWN Spartan-II's that complete training and got their armor, as the name roster currently comes 3 short of the known #.

u dont age in cryo sleep. u are frozen in it, it freezes all your body cells so they stop working, only when u thaw out do u age normally, when your cells reactivate =D

yes, it's difficult to do because if you make the body to cold the cells burst because the water inside of them expands as it freezes, or if you over came that, you know how you sometimes get freezerburn on your steak? well...
anyway I don't know of anyone who ever went into a cryofreeze longterm(several months) and thawing out alive, but I heard you can keep someone who been hurt so bad they would die in a few minutes for almost 2 days, I forget at what temperature

alright,forge is a marine sergent he has nothing to do with the spartan program.the whole point of the spartan program is to use biologic suits to make a super solder.forge is wearing regular marine armor.without the suits that the spartans wear they cant be called spartans

The suits that they developed were prototypes for the S-IIs. By the time they had people test those suits, the S-II program had already began.
The people who tested those suits weren't S-I's, just regular marines.
When the Spartan I's were trained, they didn't have any special suits designed for them at the time. Sgt. Johnson is a Spartan I, and he was still alive at this time.

You can't prove he isn't a Spartan I. Spartan I's didn't have special armor, Sgt. Johnson is a Spartan I for example. He doesn't wear any 'special' kind of armor.
But you can't prove he is one either, not enough is known about him.

But they didn't put the S-I's in those suits. They put ANY regular marine in those.
Sgt. Johnson was still alive and he was an S-I, so its pretty obvious that the S-I's didn't even die out to begin with.

because the others are lost - in the ghosts of onyx book they are trapped inside the planet, and its a metaphor, it is to help moral. if spartans died and everyone knew about it, then all hope would be given up, because they are super soldiers who have lived through countless battles and won.

Halo Wars beats any RTS games out there by a long shot. Command and Conquer isnt bad; great concept, but crappy story line; nothing solid. The music composer that put together the ending Credit Walk Through of Halo Wars did a nice job along with his other tracks that you hear through out the game.
