froufroulover4's friend... the piano overpowered her sound way too much. i could barely hear her. it sounded like she didnt get the timing quite right a few times. but still amazing! shes like 10x better than me now :P
Because of the fact that she's nine, all I have to say is Woah....I couldn't do that at her age, that's for sure. But still, she's a major looser, pushed around by her parents to 'be the best' and stuff like that.Because you have to go all the way through Sevcik and Kreutzer and all the stuff that will be the base for your tehnique. And she probably won't play well in the future. It won't be easy for her that's for sure
She's clearly not ready for this - why make her play it? She obviously has a huge amount of talent, but there is no point in making her play stuff that is far beyond her ability.
That was good ecspecially for a nine year old, but what age did you stat at beacuse Im 15 and I've been playing since I was five but I've never played anything even close to that hard. DO you spend akk your free time practicing?
do you understand? i really hope i didn't offend you - really u did a great job on this piece, it's one that even i cna't play , and i'm 14, and i've been playing violin for 10 years now- my violin teacher never made me do pieces that were too difficult for me, she let me take it step by step
i've thot about it, and for a nine year old, that's pretty good!
just my honest opinion is this=
i think u r a very talented violinist, just don't take on hard pieces when u rn't ready for them- i'm not trying to be mean, i'm saying...just like there are different levels to a video game, there are different difficulty levels to a musician, and i think it's vital to know what stage u r at. i think it's wise to take one stage at a time, easier......
imho, there is much to be learned from taking on a challenge, just as there is in learning to perfect something simple. learning a piece of music is ongoing and evolves over time. we revisit pieces often as we learn what quality is and how to achieve it. it's certainly a journey. congratulations to Esther and best wishes for her road ahead.
beautiful job, excellent poise and feeling. she looks very at ease in her movements while holding her violin. may it bring her joy and comfort all her life.

Charming in its own way.

...be really cool if u played the first part really fast, then u'd sound great!
and then musicality, or feeling, which comes last, but, in my opinion, is most important, just do it the way u want to play it
it's your interpretation of the piece, soo haha
i hope i'm not too confusing, my sentence structure is probalby really messed up
good luck ^ ^

It's a piece that doesn't justice to any player who fiddels it. I don't know why it is played at all.

@closetviolinist that's a pretty sloppinly disguised insult. Instead of patronizing her watch her and learn something

This was a bit out of tune, but it is still impressive to see such a young child playing such a difficult piece ^^
