Okay, so apparently, the patch worked, but the opening is still in Japanese, and I was thrown off when the "Nintendo Presents" at the very beginning was nothing but a bunch of mangled jargen I couldn't read...

But once I got past that, the actual TEXT in the game seems to be just fine.  Thanks for explaining this to me.

I did this and started the game on my vba. Only thing is, I can't save. I've tried changing the save type (Options-Emulator-Save Type) but none of them work. Anybody know how to make it work?

rename the translation files to what the actual GBA file is---

Example: the gba file is called FE6.gba----you want to name the ips file exactly the same calling it FE6.ips. leave the .gba and .ips file types the same

it said the patching succeeded but when i open it up (with vba) it still is japanese and not just the epilogue i mean everything is japanese
