Three of my good friends are marine. along with two cousins. My kid brother is looking to sign up in ... one of them just back on 10 day leave. He goes to MOS training today :( . I miss him already. Just wanted to give a shout out to the marines and other service men and women.. and their families.. Thank you for keeping us all safe . And for the sacrifices you have made... I pray all our troops come home safe. <3 u guys

Marines and Marine Reserves go through the same exact training, the only difference is that Marine Reserves go back to the civilian world after training and just train once a month whereas Active Duty Marines have to fulfill contracts as a Marine full time. Full time job Marines = Active Duty.

@ApriliaNinja same training for both, but if you are in the reserves you are able to go to school or hold a job because you only train once a month and 2 weeks out of the year, you don't get paid as much (obviously) and dont get housing or food allowences, and but you can still get deployed.
