its probably not iron but some zinc alloy. these are easy to smelt, they cast well, but they break easily, and they gradually lose strenght.

They have spare parts available for real cheap on this gun. That part is only six dollars. A pin snapped in my Uzi, but luckily it was only $2 to replace.

It sucks that they don't use higher quality metal, but at least they do have replacement parts around.

Yes, but at least they offer product support. I don't have any issues with my UZI, and it's the most fun airsoft gun I've used. The only reason mine broke was because I lent it to a friend who abused it at the field. Be good to your guns and they will be good to you.

Besides, gas guns are common to be damaged due to the wear of moving parts. Anyone getting a GBB airsoft gun should know what they are getting into. Occasional repairs are nearly inevitable, regardless of what brand you buy from.
