So do we finally have a 19 toy that we can turn upside down without the top part falling off?

I bought the YF-19 double nuts as I liked the color scheme and the CollectionDX review of it was positive... but I was disappointed to see that it's rather fragile and the upper body doesn't lock together at all. I can see this valkyrie locks in the video, but how well?

Fortunately, this fire valkyrie looks to be a lot better designed and a lot less fragile than the YF-19 toys at least.

Just wondering for the red gloss colour scheme, is that painted on layer similar to the white gloss on my Yamato Patlabors; or just a real nice looking solid red plastic material?

Have ordered myself one of these I'm now sure I'll enjoy, just wondering if it'll be a finger print magnet.

VF-19 and YF-19 have almost NOTHING in common, only design and transformation.

The Su-47 only has the sweepted wings in common with the VF-19, the Su is nowhere near as sleek as the 19, while the X-29 is rounded and sleek like the 19 albeit with awkward wings

I am vary impressed! Do you think the improvements they made for this will show up on later versions of YF-19's?

The older YF-19's looks nice but I was not impressed with the Gerwalk mode with how the arm/torso section just kinda rested on the wings and seemed to flop around a bit.

I still have an early-version YF-19. I do love it, but I sadly broke the infamous transformation hinge behind the cockpit. I glued it together but haven't transformed it since. I like the eccentric color of this version, and with the improvements, I might consider grabbing this one.

@RR0722 To be honest a fighter with the ability to transform into a humanoid machine is feasible, although it would be a very very difficult thing to perfect. Plus it's a far more interesting concept than some jackass with a stupid haircut flying a bastardized version of a great fighter via guitar and vocals. I like flight controls good sir.

You're quite lucky. I hope to one day get a small fleet of Yamato Variable Fighters as well, but at the moment I can't afford them.

This seems far more thought through than YF-19 and I wouldn't be surprised if the used their experience with this to make a YF-19 1:60/2 version.

The only real accessories for VF-19 Custom Fire Valkyrie is sound booster unit.

I do believe Sound booster will be release.
