i simply do not understand youtube. there are videos of numpties copying shocking guitar that have a million views. you are a talented guitarist and you have aroung 4-6000 views per vid. why do people give so much time to learning finger tapping on expensive electric guitars? i feel a crusade coming! an accoustic uprising even! are you in?

Because those are the 'showy' things. Simply pluck the strings? Never! You have to tap and bang and rake your guitar to get attention these days.

The reason people finger tap is get intervals that one the same string that is hard to do with your fretting hand.

@robalid listen, its a different style of guitar playing. yes its more falsh, but it takes real skill to pull of effective taps and so on. im a very versatille player, and do rock, blues and so on, so i have a very mixed opinion on guitar playing.

i think music knowledge is important as well as skill, so u cant just pick up an ibanez jem and know how to tap, u should learn the theory, see what im saying? do love a good accoustic though, and this is no exeption! its beautifuly done
