I havent been to Ireland Karim, but I did live in Saudi for 3 years for a USAF contract. It was confusing at first, but I made friends and people treated me kindly. Oh, and SCUBA diving in the Red Sea was a great experience. I sure miss those dive weekends. Iogged over 200 before I stopped logging. Ma salama sadique

Ireland was divided between chieftains nominally subservient to the High Kings. In practice, these chieftains fought each other and the High Kings almost constantly. The World is actually a much better place thanks to England. Life in Ireland under the English may not have been great, but it was better than before.

Ireland, by the way, hadn't even come close to "stabilising" by the time the English seriously got involved, during the reign of Henry VIII. Ireland was probably the most volatile country in Europe at the time. You have to make a distinction between the early British Empire and the Late British Empire. The Victorians very seriously tried to improve the lives of people.

@mugmugmug11 yeah i am im just not this modern day IRA fan cuz they dont have a cause if you say they do your lying to yourself. Im more republican than you shall ever be. And as for getting aught or not who cares if theyve been caught the psni are one of the worst polie forces in the world with an atrocious conviction rate. They'd probably let osama go with a caution. Just beause they haven t been caught doesn't mean they don't do it.
