if police inspector is corrupt, register a complaint to SP, who is under LOKPAl. SP will have to act promptly, else, LOKPAL will act against SP. Besides, state vigilance/audit are always there.

Team Anna wants a Lokpal without loopholes. Govt always keeps some loopholes and when team Anna object to loopholes, govt says they are inflexible. Team Anna has suitable and practical explanation to all the grey areas.
Kejriwal and team are playing for the the gallery / general mass and are not interested in addressing the issues. And they are successful with their concocted stories to win the masses. This is a tragedy for the country.

Mr Kejriwal, I used to work with the Central Excise department - I wonder why you say there is no accountability in the Income tax department. There is the Vigilance Section plus the different Audit bodies. Agreed, they are not effective in many instances - would it not make better sense to put in mechanisms to make these bodies function effectively rather than attempt to create another super layer? The 'no accountability' statement is misleading especially to general public

@shubhendu2368 I think u don't have any knowledge about the concept of Lokpal itself.This another police body is different from current police body coz it wud independent from govt pressure and its act would be more transparent and accountable.These kind of institutions are present in many countries and have been a huge success. For eg.Hongkong's ICAC, Singapore's CPIB, Wale's ICAC, USA's OGA etc.We have a failed premier investigation agency called CBI coz its under govt influence
