all top 9 had were routines... too many of them, and they really werent all that dope. then they'ed use power against a crew that has like 2 of the best power bboys in the world
hahah yes yes, but i think what everyone tends to do is get used to the fact that he can do all these power moves that they sort of forget how hard the moves are..i mean, it wasn't the fact he did the jackhammers, but the fact that he went around again through the bridge that impressed me. i saw him practice toprock and footwork, he's not bad, its just strategy when they battle to use pop for those crazy blowups, and using stylemovers like noodle and zesty for style.
bboy pop is like the secret weapon for gambler. you never see him drop a normal set with any uprock or downrock, he always comes in at the end of a routine or something doing an insane trick or something. in planet bboy, still said that lazer was the best headspinner in the world, but his other moves werent very good at all. i kinda feel that's how pop is in that his repitoire is very limited even though what he can do is sick as hell.
Sadly thats how most bboys are who do alot of crew battles, bboys like baek, jun, blond, blue, bruce lee rely heavily on the rest of their crew covering their weaknesses up, but other bboys in other lesser crews seem to be more well rounded and thus have many more sets, one in particaular that suprised me was bboy trance from T.I.P, watch the ground stratch battles and ull see wat i mean
yea...i usually cringe when sick comes out because he does the same thing over and over, but his foundation was pretty good...he had some attitude and swagger coming out, i think that really adds to your style.
hahaha there were quite a few people. i think everyone was just getting tired after watching 15 other battles. the bboying scene in korea is getting more commercialized and such, but there are events that are much more underground and truer to the bboy roots that the korean bboys go to.
you should of seen the crowd for the gambler's first round :D
yea koreans go to alot of the more home based games like watching korean bboys battle eachother more than these kind of commercialized competitions.. like underground ones just like the person said.

kchee, how many people were there? Crowd seems so weak. If there were not many people, could it be related to what is going on in korea right now?
