The one who uploaded this clip and some others are so fucked. This scene was written as a joke. Perhaps one of you had a real life experience similar to this? In which case, no one cares and quit denying yourself in a what is clearly a hilarious and fun scene. Get over it.

this is my favorite scene out of the whole show, Jim parsons gives an incredible performance in this scene, and it really gives us some more back story about Sheldon, which they seem to be giving us more back story about the characters in season 3, like when we learn about Howard's dad leaving his family, this scene is still epic and sad at the same time.

the audience section has microphones around it to get the genuine laughter of the audience. and when theres not a good amount of laughter from the crowd the director/actors will often ask the audience why it wasnt as funny as written, or try a different approach to that specific scene until the audiences laughter works out the way intended. the only editing that would need to be done is the volume of the laughter, or cutting the duration of the laughter short so it wont cover a new scene.

I agree. That was very intense and an excellent dramatic performance by Parsons. It was not supposed to be funny, I got so angry at the audience laughing. That was serious stuff.
