@bhay3s tell that to MMA fighters Mac Danzig, Jake Shields (2 weight class champion; middleweight and welterweight) or Ricardo "Mad Dog" Moreira. Think they're low on testosterone?
This was a great video, but I'm skeptical about the vegetal protein being complete proteins. I've always heard otherwise. I whish he could cite his sources.
@GanjaStuPipesUp: bacteria doesn't necessarily come from plants -- the mouth, upper intestine, and lower intestine all contain bacteria that produce B12. Most people with B12 deficiencies and/or pernicious anemia are NOT vegans. B12 deficiencies occur primarily when:
Something is competing or destroying your B12 (like parasites, antibiotics, parasites...);
2.) Something is preventing the proper absorption of B12 (lack of intrinsic factor).
If you are concerned takeYeasts fortified with B12
Thank you for posting this! Btw those who are raised Vegan DO NOT mature to puberty until they are 17. That means more time for your brain to develop before your body develops. No 12 year old girls pregnant and in my mind it is the only solution to population control.
Thank you - that was awesome. Just a side-note - tofu needs be consumed in moderation, as it destroys the good enzymes in the guts. Only Asian people have developed the biochemistry to ingest large amounts of soy.
@minalora I agree. Tofu can not be eaten raw thus it should not be consumed at all. It is a transition food and like all food and food itself should be eaten in moderation.
Excellent video presentation about what is truly important for us to eat. Thanks for helping to spread the word. Nothing like a doctor to tell you the facts! Blessings!
control the population,..... God said, "Be fruitful and multiply, and subdue the earth." He also CREATED us, (not evolution), to eat plants. 1 child per family is NEGATIVE population growth!! I do, however agree with 99% of what he said. Cool lecture!
I agree with most things this person says, except for grain, human beings have not evolved eating grains, we introduced grains quite recently in our diet.
This was really interesting, thanks for posting. I've glad I'm vegan, and that I've been able to help my friends and family learn more about nutrition since I changed my diet.
I apologize GanjaStuPipesUp, I meant to reply, not to remove your comment from part 2. I found this on wiki, but states they may not work for nutritional purposes.
The mushroom Agaricus bisporus could contain Vitamin B12. This can be seen on some nutrition sites.
Legumes have root nodules that contains Rhizobia. These bacteria can create Vitamin B12.
Salt rising bread contains Clostridium perfringens which is known to create Vitamin B12.
Thanks for the advice, but I have never heard of the mushroom you mentioned & would have no idea where to find it (mushroom picking without expert advice is extremely dangerous). And unfortunately I don't eat bread.
@GanjaStuPipesUp A cow gets its B12 from the grass it eats. B12 producing bacteria is all over the ground & has plants grow from the ground they have B12 on them. Just cook a vegetable such as a potato without wishing it off first and you will be fine. It is actually difficult to avoid vitamin B12 producing bacteria unless you're the bubble boy.
I've heard this before, but I'll need some convincing. Even if I eat organic vegetables which don't need washing, I still have to cook them, which will surely remove any remaining bacteria.
Our ancestors most likely got their B12 from acidentally eating ants, which are extremely rich in the stuff, whilst eating berrys & fruits. This could also be where cows get their B12 from, although they might also produce it; dgos produve their own vitamin C.
@GanjaStuPipesUp You do not need to cook your food but even if you do only eat cooked food the bacteria would die but the B12 would still be there. Cows do not metabolize there own B12 & this is just another excuse of meat eaters trying to find a reason why eating meat is a necessity.
You will not become B12 deficient from not eating meat & if you do you can just eat a B12 Vitamin but there is no need to do that. Just do not worry about it & listen to Minalora I know her personally.
Who said I eat meat, and yes, Minalora & you give some good advice, but once Codex Alimentarius fully kicks in B12 vitamin tablets will not be available & neither will produces "fortified" with vitamins. This is the reason I want to find a good alternative source.
She says things prevent absorption of B12, but gives no clues of have to identify them.
I've been tested in the past, and if I forget to take B vitamin suppliemtns I do become deficient.
@GanjaStuPipesUp You're not going to become deficient in B12. It is a Parasite that absorbs B12 and this is rare. Vitamins and foods fortified with Vitamins DO NOT prevent disease. These are highly unbalanced forms of nutrients. I wouldn't take these and its better if you do not. I wish Codex Alimentarius would remove them but they wont since Vitamins are a big industry. Codex Alimentarius are busy trying to figure out how to put more chemicals in our food.
Just wondering, when is Codex Alimentarius coming into effect? Is it already happening in the EU (which seems to be the forefront of CA's application)?
As far as I know all countries who are part of the UN have to implement it....
I would like to add to that vitamin D supplement (~100IU), you will notice the difference in your daily happiness and energy. I read somewhere that something like 75% of all people in the Western world are badly deficient in this because we don't get out into the sun often enough, and is hypothesized to be the major cause of depression.
Vitamin D does increase levels of the serotonin in the brain, and in one hospital study, >90% of patients were deficient!
"Fermented soya products, seaweeds, and algae such as spirulina have all been suggested as containing significant B12. However, the present consensus is that any B12 present in plant foods is likely to be unavailable to humans and so these foods should not be relied upon as safe sources. Many vegan foods are supplemented with B12." - vegsoc.org
@daniherenow The healthy Omega 3 is Alpha Linolenic Acid ALA and that is only from plant based foods not meat. Lots of foods have it but Walnuts and Flax seeds are highest in ALA.
i just think that is obvious that animal fat is solid at body temparature and that plant fat isnt and that is the reason people get heart attacks and many other disease
only if your conscious is high enough you will see what is obvious, you will see the population of north america and the health problems, financial problems, religious problems, job problems, materialsm problems. everything is linked, we are being controlled and manipulated, our subconscious mind absorbs every information we see and modify our brain, just look at ANY popular food today and its EITHER full of SODIUM(SALT), full of FAT, or full of SUGAR or all, its to make us unhealthy
I have found this information to be very correct, that's just my opinion though.
Could it be possible that those who choose this diet return to normal testosterone levels, and that ingesting androgenic steroids in meat and dairy causes an abnormal elevation of these levels?
Hey Luxor Thanks for posting this! I've been vegetarian for over three years now and can confirm everything he said, also if you mesure the electomagnetic field around people who eat meat it vibrates much slower and it's more dense, so there is no need for flesh and blood consumption.
Some people feel the need to defend their ego and taste/urge for cadaver.
I am a vegetarian now, but I really wish my parents had watched this video when I was growing up. Nutritional "truths" passed down through the generations (like many other "truths") are completely misguided . . . and are killing many people unnecessarily.

He said he would talk about where to get vitamin B12 from on a vegan diet. Did I miss it or did he forget??
I can find no way to get B12 from plant products, which I'm keen to doing as I'm a vegan & Codex Alimentarius is getting closer.
If anyone knows where to get B12 from naturally (not fortified or in pills) I'd be interested to hear.
Apparently ants are very high in B12, but that will strictly be a last resort.

@GanjaStuPipesUp Take a B12 supplement, that's what I do. I also drink B12 fortified unsweetened soy milk.
There are B12 in some organic plan skins, but NOWHERE near how much you need. We raped all the top soil, humans are F'd.
