ive installed office 2007 on ubuntu 10.04, it works fine except the program interface fonts are jagged. how do i enable anti-aliasing for the menus? thx
@sunnyheroe Theme: I just reduced the transparency of the panels, this is done by right clicking and clicking on properties and put a cool wallpaper.
Did you read the description for office 2007? Try it and if that doesn't work, use crossover linux. It works but is available as a 30 day free trial. It comes for 37 euros
@SteveVaiJemini OOo apparently has a little issue with it and bullets showing up un aligned once the OOo created document is opened in Office 2003/2007. Not too big of a deal but I need my resume to upload perfectly on the end of hopeful employers. If it wasn't for that I would only use OOo.
@SteveVaiJemini Let's say that you are doing a project with other people and they are using office. Word compatibility is great but powerpoint tends to be a bit messy in my experience and this helps people keep linux and still use ms office if they have to.

I can't find a sensible reason installing this on Ubuntu, because it has buil-t in Open Office Package fully integrated with MS Office

Otherwise Openoffice is perfect!
