This should be a blessing to us, not a curse, but we are stuck in an outdated paradigm that there should be 5 day a week "haves" and 0 day a week "have nots". Solution is more employees per company, less days per week per employee and 7 day a week operation if applicable.

After Camerons failure to get Turkey into the EU he was frustrated that Gaddafi was keeping possibly millons of North African cheap labour out of Europe so Gaddafi had to go. This should be a blessing to us, not a curse, but we are stuck in an outdated paradigm that there should be 5 day a week "haves" and 0 day a week "have nots". Solution is more employees per company, less days per week per employee and 7 day a week operation if applicable.
Simplistic answer, but we need to share those jobs to create a broader middle class.

After Camerons failure to get Turkey into the EU he was frustrated that Gaddafi was keeping possibly millons of North African cheap labour out of Europe so Gaddafi had to go. This is not a war for oil, oil was not even an issue. This was a war for human oil to help Europe compete with China, as well as to cement the relationship between the Islamists and the Western liberal-socialists.

I can't understand why the UN would allow US military intervention after all that has happen in the middle east. This is stupid but I can't understand why any country would allow this to happen. The people of Evil should stand up for themselves and reserve this issue peacefully. They don't need guns to overthrow an oppressive leader. They can peacefully protest like in Egypt, but once former Empires have declared there interest. The support has dwindled for a truly revolutionary movement.

It is all about oil my friend. Libyan oil is 'sweet crude' i.e. Low sulfur which means it is in high demand. Even lower production of it can offset huge high sulfur crude oils such as from Saudi Arabia. Besides that, refineries in Spain, Germany and Italy depend on Libyan Oil. The drama of saving civilians is nothing more than the Saddam's WMD's.

The US invaded Libya. No matter how they paint it, it is an invasion. I am no Ghadaffi fan, but he asked "What would you do if citizens took up weapons and attacked in your country?" You would react.
