what do these dances and traditions mean?? im "african american" i know these are the people we come from, and i want to know about our people. us "blacks" in america are like the successful big brother who all the other brothers look up to, jamaicans are like warriors and laid back brother, hiatians are our preist, but YOU, igbo, are like the great grandfather who holds all the secret knowledge and history of the past you are most important. from brazil to cuba we are a speial people.

My 8 year old son's dad is Igbo, but unfortunately ran away when he was a baby, it's a shame he will never know this part of his heritage.
