In her Best of both worlds tour she had fish on the background, swimming about. She also said this song is about Lyric and Melody, but can be adapted to anyone, a lost one, a broken relationship or just if you're sad.

I lost Spotty 5 months ago </3 He was a goldfish who had Swim Bladder Disease. I know its stupid to cry over a fish, but I had a really hard time in 2010/early 2011, and he always made me feel better <3 He is the biggest love i've ever gotten! this song was played at a 12 year olds funeral in December 2010. She had cancer and lost the fight on December 28. Ive never really been a fan of Miley, but this song was very fitting for her. She was a very strong girl. The doctors told her many times in a 2 year period she didnt have long. but she made it a lot longer then they expected. R.I.P Savanah Bell. Your missed very much.
