I dont get why todays fashion is soooo different from the 50's , people were much smarter and cleaner, and every song had meaning to it in the 50's era . Nowadays rap or hip hop fashion is the best (supposebly) with theyre dirty words, money weed and girls. Look at the rappers music videos now, how do they get like a million views for such unmeaningful lyrics, and how does the man, MARLON BRANDO a great divine actor figure with nice hair in this video of a teibute only get like a thousand views
Many in the acting world imitated Marlon Brando including James Dean, De Niro, and many others. There is nothing wrong in learning from others, but an actor must have his own style. Nevertheless, Brando had an inborn talent that was unmatched; ironically he hated acting. He thought that it was a waste of life!
@Jostefhy "No reply" was the old soundtrack, I changed the music again a few weeks ago. The original music I used when created the video was "My Way" from Sinatra with a great result, but Youtube deleted it due Copyright reasons.
OH JESUS CHRIST....i don't know how to describe him he just has the look: i mean look at those big eyes, those full lips, the everything man ......HARD 2 SAY THEY DON'T MAKE EM LIKE THAT ANYMOOOOORE (r.i.p. marlon brando)and alson great actor

Damn good actor. And he was acting back when actors actually acted . They didn't just star in CGI special effect big explosion popcorn movies back then. They actually had to have a clue about the art of acting.
@sirpickles The book of movies you fucking retard. DeNiro never starred with Marlon Brando, Al Pacino did and went on to become even more of a gangster star. Brando is associated more with Al Pacino since they star together dumbass. You would make that same comment with Al Pacino instead of DeNiro. Fucking asshole
@SmashBrosFan19 The 'Book of Movies' - are you kidding me? Okay my friend, I will take your word for it - though it is slightly unusual that you only want to compare actors PROVIDING they have shared a movie together! Oh well, never mind (and BTW, the name of the film is The Score - starred De Niro and Brando).
@sirpickles That doesn't matter. DeNiro is compared to Pacino. DeNiro is a stupid choice to match up against Marlon Brando..Any intelligent person who knows movies knows that. A better choice would be say, Jack Nicholson. I don't know what your thoughts are of Nicholson, but I am not comparing their quality of acting. I am comparing their roles in movies, and how they can play them.
This may sound dumb, but it's hard not to pause this video to catch my breath. This man was just so breathtakingly gorgeous. So young, and already so mature looking. A forceful look in the eyes, and a gentle mouth. Marlon is the best. Not only when it came to looks, but the way he acted. Ah, absolutely amazing.
Just because we should remember people now and then.....especially when they have brought us so much.....Idk......I was just looking for a particular clip and this struck me..
marlon brando a classic hottie. beautiful/gorgeous all the way esp wen he was young. i totally agree even in his old age despite the gray hair/weight/wringkles u can still notice his face handsome!
@savesprinkles5678 Unforutanetly people get old, and we are not as fit or good looking as we once were. But its nice to remember how handsome he was as a young man..so beautiful :)
Despite the weight and all in later years he never lost that beautiful face... 4:16 until the end are photos of him after the age of 50, you can see how gorgeous he still was.
So I just heard Jackie Collins say she slept with Brando when she was 15...so he must have been 28. I know those times were different but EW. He was a pedo.

Is this song "my way" by Frank Sinatra? it doesn't seem so to me...(if you have changed it please tell me the title of the new song) Anyway,it is beautiful:) And Marlon Brando is gorgeous,of course;) A really good video, well done!
@grobbledonk Are you kidding!? Instrumental music is what gives life to film...it can alter the emotions we feel in the scenes. What would we do with out it!? I write film music...so I know all about this. You can write your own story when you listen to instrumental music....when there's words, its all you got...no blank page to let your imagination run wild and create your own story.
@BohemianBrunette - I wondered what your message was in response to initially. Of course I would never dispute the emotive power of music in film, or in anything; I was merely disputing that a piece of instrumental music should not correctly be termed a "song"

Perhaps you just lack imagination then. Sans make-up and some toilet tissue, Brando's Corleone is nothing special. Duvall could match it at a stroll. He's proven himself adept at playing patriarchal figures time and time again. No doubt his interpretation would be different...and most likely better. Whether or not you or any other Brando-worshippers would be willing to admit that is another matter.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
And I don't really care if Duvall couldn't have played Kowalski like Brando (not that there's the slightest bit of evidence he couldn't have). Who wins out in that role decides nothing about who's the better actor overall. In any case, Brando had a head-start with it. He was born to play slobs. No character came more naturally to him.
Brando's Vito won an Oscar... it's nothin special? Wat? It is one of the most talked about portrayals in history!
Dont get me wrong Robert Duvall is a great actor but trying to compare him to Brando is just ridiculous, he would tell u himself. I think u need to do ur history, Brando changed the way people acted, including Duvall.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Most talked about performances in history.
Spoken with all the hyperbole of a true Brando-worshipper. Even if you were right, your statement would mean little. Did you know that ten million flies think cow shit is a delicacy?
Duvall saying that Brando was better than him does not make it true. In fact, Im not surprised he said it. For one thing, Duvall is gracious. For another, he wouldnt want to be burned at the stake for heresy.
And it makes no difference whether Brando influenced him; Brando himself was influenced by the likes of Paul Muni and Montgomery Clift. Contrary to the preferred belief of his followers, he didnt really conjure his acting approach out of a hat.
Neither did he single-handedly change the face of acting. In case you didnt realise, he received intense nurturing by Stella Adler and Elia Kazan. He was merely the most charismatic member of a whole school alternately-trained actors and directors.
Film and theatre were inevitably evolving. Many people - playwrights, directors, actors, producers and even critics played their part in the process. Brando was just a one part of it.
excellent actor; do you know the wonderful movie "The little tea-house" where brando was leading-man? very nice film, I havn't seen for a long time; very good work here

Why are people saying it's a nice song? There's no singing in it
grobbledonk 2 years ago
Well, the song was "My Way" by Frank Sinatra, but Youtube deleted it .

Not all of us worship him, you know. For me, Robert Duvall, George C. Scott and Gene Hackman are all better actors than he was.

lol can u see Robert Duvall pulling off the Godfather like Marlon did or play his role in Streetcar? what a stupid comment
