I am no Arctic Monkeys fan, but I do respect that they can actually accomplished musicians. This shit sounds like a reverb-overload chamber-music reworking of "Row row row your boat". Like they heard Fleet Foxes and said "Hell, lets just dumb that down entirely and then shout the same thing over and over". There is NOTHING good about this song., but perhaps they have good stage presence, else I can not understand the NME endorsements.

I love JMC. Love them. Everything about them. Not these guys though. This song is particularly weak, sure, but i did listen to their whole album. I just put them in the "wtf?" category of over-hype. The guy playing down by my local subway station seriously gets more credit from me. I think the only thing they have going for them is strong vocals.

@sirpatalot Yeah, I was pretty dissapointed when I heard this. They have melodies that sound like they're all stolen from other songs (Should've Know Better by the Beatles, in this case), and their sound is just a boring mash of recycled sounds of other bands of this decade most notably The Strokes, Arcade Fire and a lot of reverb. It sort of 'commercial' indie to me, just trying to cash in with a borrowed sound.
