I was in Auschwitz two times and I saw with myself the realy true. The Swedish people were sitting this man on plane back to England same day he was arriving to Sweden. Move him to a desert or uninhabited island there he can talk free.
@diggingformud A cursory glance of Guttenplan's book seems to show he is casting plausible doubt on Irving's guilt but also refraining from giving him any credibility either. Am I wrong? I am fundamentally insulted by the term "Holocaust Denier". I do not agree with any doctrine that tells me I CANNOT question something that I did not witness or experience personally. That in itself is suspicious. There is a Shakespearean phrase, "Thou doth protest too loudly".
@diggingformud But we were not privy to his evidence, were we? Neither was a jury, so no one could leak it. Just a Judge who was so overwhelmingly in favour of the defendeant it is an abvious miscarriage of justice. There was nothing legal or truthful about this trial. Irving attempted to clear his name, dragged through the mud by the accused, and instead had his name dragged through the mud again. We are not living in a society where we can have different theories without being crucified.
David Irving is a brilliant historian.
