@timaius in wc3 you have 3 heroes on the addition of normal units. And the heroes have 4 skills. Not to mention, even the units have 1-2 skills at least. So micro is very essential, surpassing sc2 where there is not much skills to use i know , im just point that because husky said that

And echoing QXC a bit, but it takes way more skill for terran to win TvZ. Even at the end of the 1st batttle he still lost despite zerg just a-moving across the field. Happy did seige his tanks a little too late though. This is why terrans should scan ahead and not get surprised like that.

The marine micro was insane, but what is more important was the tank positioning. It managed to take out units, and prevented any zerglings from getting surrounded. Bronzies/Silvers would usually just clump their marine/tank together, pros deliberately set up their tanks in a concave like that.

less the tank positioning, more of the tank target firing, most bad terrans, and even some good ones, don't make use of their tanks, which will auto fire the lings that are closest to them, usually killing other tanks or marines, ideally you should target the center of a clump of banelings with 2 tanks, another group with 2 tanks, etc. etc... much more important than pre-spreading the tanks

@Slixys You're right, didn't even think about manually firing tanks. Though you got to consider the sheer difficulty in doing it. Blings move so fast and Tanks in siege fire their cannons somewhat slow... I'll leave it up to the A.I. and the grandmaster's league to focus on that :P and even after that you get the insane marine micro, and macro back at base... Wonder if Day9 has analyzed this game yet.

@gameboy772 Dude you made me rewatch the video for the battle for nothing. He didnt choose to put them in that concave though. He was walking west when the zerg engaged, the only thing he moved were the marines.

The siege tanks were just sieged while the marines were pulled back. But yeah, i agree, concave would help if deliberately placed =)

all terran harass is counterable with static defense speedling and infestor which at 4 bases is pretty easy to pump fast ;)

I played with Happy in a random 4v4 once...before I knew who he was. I got a bit suspicious when watching the replay and seeing that one of my teammates had an apm of 200 steady. He practically won the whole game for us, putting in the final blow with 6 simultaneous nukes :D

@edmondlek Well it could be a cheese if your strategy depended on the bunker rush being succeful(aka the bunkers getting finished thereby basically winning the game in a high level game). A bunker rush done in the way happy did it in this game does not rely on getting the bunkers up, he only wants to delay mining and force zerglings to get built. However it would be a huge bonus if the bunker actually got completed.

Im actually in master league, people often do these small bunkerlpushes there.
