@pmj "Greeche" "crucade" - what language is this? Certainly not English. You will be well aware that the declaration of war on Finland did not result in any action in either direction. It is you who asserted that the Uk declared a war against fascism. I have asserted that the true position is the contrary: Italy declared war on us. I take it that you are not troubled by the UK's declaration of war on Nazi Germany? In any case anomalies are part and parcel of history.
Now I think that Italy under Mussolini (who I think might have been a fascist?)declared war on us. To seek to separate WW2 into a war between nations on the one hand from the politics on the other is naive.
So we didn't declare war on fascism then? italy, a fascist country declared war on us, so the war was a defensive one to ensure our own security. What about our ally, Fascist Greeche which had adopted the Italian system down to the stiff arm salute, were they fighting a crucade agaisnt fascism as well? oh and what about when we declared war on finland, one of the most democratic countries in the world, did it cause a logical anomoly that caused the universe to implode?
@peppermintjohn666 So Italy's decision to declare war in 1940 was not simply opportumism - I suggest (well perhaps self evidently) wrong planet. Who are "Fascist Greeche"??? What is a "crucade". What is "agaisnt". What is an "anomoly". You have complained about comments on your "contributions" being illiterate, yet you exhibit these very qualities. Would this be the first time that fascism and hypocrisy have come together? Maybe not.
? What planet are you on? The mortality rate of the ruling elite from a UK viewpoint has been greater than that of the working class - subalterns in ww1 as an example.
I think that you may have a problem with apostrophes - elite's - think not.
Like many families in the UK I have relatives who died fighting nazism/fascism. I am extremely proud of their sacrifice and my country. I take it that you think I have no knowledge of the battles that my relatives fought?
mosley was by far the best political orator in british political history,, it is only immigrants and communists that would declare what he has to say as, unworthy to listen to.
Even today his words ring true to every man woman and child of britain.
And he should be held high for his righteous beliefs.

Sir Oswald Mosley would have betrayed this country in a secons to Hitler & his Nazi thugs had ne ever come to power, He was the greatest potential traitor this country EVER had. So what does that make people of the 21st century who still support his misguided & mistaken philosophy?
Oswald Mosley, Adolf Hitler, George Rockwell, Hideki Tojo, all nationalists with faith in their countrymen to run their own lives deserve respect, these men are leaders not tyrants, they merely directed the will carried by their people.
How some things newer change . We all could make such a strong state economy and military power in the GALACTIC proportion , but we must get rid of the reptilians .
I do not quite understand how a British worker had to compete with an Asian worker, what exactly is he saying there? Please define international finance and how it is dangerous.
@peppermintjohn666 No, this does not make any sense to me at all. How on earth did Britain have to compete with Asia given that Britain had its own industry and the Empire to trade with?
@NatDemUK Well, to be simple, profiteering Capitalists and corrupted Communists both used (and in the case of the Capitalists, still use) labour from developing nations in order to worm around minimum wages and other things intended to sustain people, as many poorer people in non-American and European countries are willing to work for a fraction of our minimum wages. It is Globalization being used to keep the poor, poor, while also sapping the middle.
@KAPTAINmORGANnWo4eva in those days it would have been difficult for a company to import immigrants and resettle in a foreign country, plus we had the Empire which would have installed protection and regulation.
@NatDemUK They weren't relocating the people: They were (and still are) building things there on the cheap, and bringing the goods to other nations.
And by the time the Union Movement was going, the British Empire's days were numbered. India was gone, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand were long gone, and most of Africa was being freed.
The only real place of interest that was left was Hong Kong.
@NatDemUK I think he's talking about things like why our apples now come from Egypt and our runner beans come from Kenya. Think about what has happened to our strong motor industries, and telecommunications, all of our consumer electronics are now produced overseas in China, and our Minis are being made by the Germans! I see a lot of unemployed British people and a lot of exploited foreign workers. Globalisation and international finance..
@NatDemUK ...it is simple my friend: international finance is composed by the most important banks in the world and by the multinatioanl that are acting in all parts of the world...it si simple, they move the economic production into the countries that the labor is cheap, and sell it after at a huge price in the home countries; while the production is moved, the home labors are tricked to take credits from the banks, but since the production was moved the salaries dont get up at the same
British and European industry is collapsing because it can not compete with cheap labor and makets from third world countries. A capitalist will rather pay to some yellow worker from Asia 30-50$ monthly then to European worker 3000-5000$, so it is logical that goods and merchandises from those countries is so much cheaper then our European so it is logical too that our goods and merchandises can't compete with those on free market and also other side effect is
@stokie1999999 At Mosley's time, we had an Empire and within the Empire, we had Imperial preference, so surely there would have been protection installed.
@oOAndrewsOo Glory for England? HAHAHAHA!!!! England has fallen under the tyranny of international finance behind communism. If Hitler was right Hitler was right! DEAL WITH IT!
Aren't we judging him by today's issues & standards?
I doubt that racism played a great part in the supporters' lives. He's just talking about 'usury' here - the banks - those twats each brit gave £40k to for screwing up the economy with their blind greed. Trying to work out why that makes him a 'vile cunt'.
Mind you, the talk of the "greatest civilsation the world has ever known" is a bit scary
@thefunkygeezer Can you recommend an alternative for the 'greatest civilisation the world has known'? I doubt the accomplishments of the Anglosphere can be topped. That doesn't mean all the others were worthless.
Winning the gold medal doesn't mean the silver and bronze winners were hopeless cases who should never have entered the competition. But the Angloshere definitely won the gold.
@shockadelicaustralia "greatest" is a very subjective term. "Richest" "Happiest", "most militarily powerful" "most socially inclusive" "greatest influence on global philosophy (or even western/eastern philosophy)" "greatest influence on religion" "most adept at mercantilism" "longest lived empire" "greatest influence on political philosophy" "greatest advancements in mathematics" "greatest architectural legacy" "most lasting linguistic influence" "most prudent use of natural resources." (cont..
@shockadelicaustralia (...continued from previous) I see gold medals being handed out in all of those areas. But "greatest"? This isn't a boxing match. It's not all "me go boom on everyone else, make money, be greatest."
@wellesradio Greatest is a *relative* term. There must be an overall 'greatest' civilisation, just as there is a 'greatest' of anything else, so who is it? You mention power, wealth, influence, cultural achievements. So which civilisation made the *most* power/wealth/inlfuence/etc? it's not China, Japan, Islam/Arabs, India or Egypt. Western Civilisation, particularly the British branch of it, wins by a few hands I think.
@shockadelicaustralia Is there necessarily a "greatest" of everything? A greatest element? Greatest natural kingdom? Civilization as a process rather than a localized ethnic clubhouse seems to be a rational idea. Furthermore, your definition of "western civilization" is cumbersome and lacking serious education if you think to exclude "Islam/Arabs" (Christ, "Islam" isn't even a fucking nation, ethnicity or collection of states) and "Egypt."
@wellesradio I think you'll find Muslims consider Islam to be a civilisation. Only ignorant Westerners define it as a 'religion-only'. And I said 'Islam/Arabs', which have never been considered part of the Western world.
All civilisations are localised. They've only spread by colonisation.
"My guess is you simply want to feel like a part of a winning team". And you don't, so why don't you leave our civilisation and move to one of all those wonderful alternatives (if they'll let you in).
@shockadelicaustralia furthermore, the list of categories I mentioned were simply a smattering of loose ideas, none of which can empirically delineate "greatness." And even if they were so postulated, Britain doesn't take the cake on half of those. The age of antiquity would laugh its head off. I have no idea if you're really Australian or not, but my guess is you simply want to feel like a part of a winning team. Fine.

Maybe I'm not the best informed one about the battle of cable street or Oswald Mosley, BUT!, even I can confute postings like: "Mosley never hurt a fly"
I'm sorry, but these postings are wrong.
ps. Fuck, its realy hard to discuss something difficult like this in englisch.
I imagine it is! which makes me wonder why you bother in the fors place. Mosley NEVER HURT A FLY (except during the war and his boxing careerer mabye). that is fact. The only purpose of the blackshirts was to steward meetings and protect everyone from organised political violence.
To bad the media, raise phony acusations about him.See the world today, controlled by socialists, and selfish zionists who promotes wars for financial gains.
No,i am not a nazi. But see the roots of greedy capitalism, they all been feed by the zionists jews.I used to think the nazi were crazy, now i found historical eveidence that they weren't that wrong at all.We have a world economical recession, but one country.Yes the aryan state of Israel. You find no homeless,or criminals there, they are all feed with our money.I deespise the racist side of nazism, but now i understand why the only country that welcome jews is the USA,reason? They controlled America.
that's such crap, im jewish and from england. Plus you will find Jews all over the world, not just in America. In addition i myself support the BNP and think they have a good cause, but idiots like you just put the electorate off voting for them. Finally, you are wrong about Israel, one third of all children are living below the poverty line there.
How is Israel an aryan state?
Why you having a go at capitalism? Communist Russia and Cuba show exactly why true socialism doesn't work

As german i can say, the british people can be proud of themself that they never fall for someone like this. I feel sick every time i have to hear the speaks of this man or his comrades. Every Nazi is an murder, remember that!
IF Mosley never hurt a fly, what did he by the "great battle of cable Street" ? I don't think he was drinking tee ^^ However, i'm not moralising, but i don't understand how someone coud think the evil zionist are controlling us and our economy :D Oh, I know, i'm controlled too... must! kill! pakistani!.... ^^
ps. Did you know? the german foreign minister is gay. And nobody cares ;D
There was nothing great about the battle of cable street which if you knew anything of the subject, was exclusively between the illegal protestors and the police. The BUF sat and waited 'drinking tea' for a few hours befor they were told to find an alternative march route. that was the 'battle of cable street'.
I really couldn't care less if your foreign minister is gay. What is so great about being gay? Ernst Rohm was gay, would you welcome him into your goverment?
Hm, the Tv scenes about the "battle of cable street" shows me a battle between the blackskirts, the police and the counterprotesters. Please don't tell me that these are fake. However, no, i don't want Ernst R(ö)hm in my Gouverment, but first of all: Not every Gay is an Ernst R(ö)m.
The Fascists lost everything, and they should never get any back! (without of punches ^^)
That was tommy morgan and a couple of friends, earlier that day miles from cablestreet. As you can clearly see, one or two blackshirts, hunderds of communists who were assailing them. The blackshirts there were fighting for thieir lives.
I can't believe you really debating the facts of cable street with me? even the wikipedia entry written by communists is not too far off.
This was an armed campign of communist aggression across the east end, the BUF were just there for a peaceful mach.
You may not well be a communist but existntially and epistemologically you share the same values. Your overwhelming bias is a testiment to this, as ids your hatred of something without knowing a damn thing about it.
Why don't give you me any kind of fact about the "Zionistic Controll" ?
I hear only: The Zionists are evil! They are resonsible for all kind of bad n this world. But, as a matter of fact, i never hear any proof, any kind of argument against or about them.
See, this is where you people start to depart with all sense. Yes the world is controlled by Zionist financiers. They are traitors to their race and to Humanity in general. I am not one of them. I am not even a Zionist. And yet you want to lump me in with them on the basis of heritage alone.
Do you *really* believe in Mosley's analysis of the basis of power in your society, or are you just using it to dress up your racism?
The Zionist *money masters* are traitors to their race because they are attempting to control Humainity in *our name*, and they're not even asking for our consent.
Your "racism" derives from your assumptions about my politics based on race alone.
@y559djr actually you are absolutely correct. Sorry. Go and have sexual intercourse with yourself you silly person. Plus, there is no need to sign yourself 'simple' it is obvious that you are.
you are wrong, not every nazi was a murder,Look at Israel today provoking the holocaust of palestinian children and women. Why is not everybody against Israel?Israel wants to make sure that countries like England and Germany stay weak, today Germany is controlled by far left zionists.Zionists love to star history from 1945 on,but likes to forget the bad things they did to the other nations in the last 400 years.Zionism is just an excuse for jewish supremacy.
Well, yes, OM shagged his way thorugh Debrett's, but his politics were as much of a fuck-up as his love-life, in that he clearly saw himself as some sort of "national saviour" and warmed to those like him abroad who felt the same about their own paltry nation-states (Corporal Hitler, for example).
No: Clive James was right. OM was "a teriffically silly man".

Prejudice & ignorance are the stock-in-trade of boneheaded, pig-ignorant Fascists, not of reasonable decent-minded (& patriotic) people.
Fascism would turn the world into a hellish boneyard, lorded over by monkeys like Mosley who, mistakenly (& inexplicably), believed themselves fit to direct and dominate others.
Fascism really opened up the depth of society for politics. People living through the hellish 1930s realised this & fought against it heart and soul.
Its killed more people and is still killing more people.
Mosley was right in his obsevation that market forces should not rule a people the people should rule the people.
Right wing doctrine belives on a simple life revolving around family kith and kin not stabbing your own in the back for a pair of trainers or an X box made in slave work shops abroad.
Right wing doctrine believes in the sanctity of our enviroment and everything in it.
Totalitarian systems of government - Fascist or Communist - are about the weak being clobbered by the strong. It is the politics of the farmyard - of the dog's bark and the pig's grunt.
Civilized society, that is EXACTLY what springs to mind when I think of modern britain. I would live to debate this more with you but your prejudice and ignorance is starting to get to me and I am beginning to find you a tugid bore.
I dont see how fascist totalitarianism is a democracy and Hitler himself loathed the definition of the word democracy.
Hitler was a brilliant politician for Germany but was not a brilliant strategist and general as well.
My point was he should have either been content with what he had created by 1939 or not started a global war on two fronts in 1941 which the Reich was bound to loose.
The so called enlightenment is based on the precepts of the Christian religion which through virture of its supernatural moral system is fundementally unnatural . This requires a leap of faith eg you believe in human rights yes? that in itself is an 'eternal value' which exists outside nature and the material world. Though I am very aware you have dodged the question of your political identity, you make it VERY clear what your moral outlook is.
On the other hand pre christian forms of morality, whilst based on spiritual precepts are spiritual precepts that are innate to the condition of man. This is why the theories of Machiavelli, Hobbes, and Plato whom the enlightenment is a reaction against, are sometimes referred to as the 'Pagan argument'. I can say with conviction that Integralism is based on nature because rather than a empoying a system that is a means to an end it is the means that are the end as a system of moral being.
It is a great shame that a brilliant ideology and form of effective national government must forever be tainted by the extremes of the German Nazi racial genocide that occurred during the second world war!
Thankyou Herr Hitler for ruining two great Nordic Nations and imposing world wide American hedgemony upon us!
If only the Bloody Austrian Corporal could have been content without that small free city of Danzig! Fascism would have survived, flourished, and thrived!
If the people of Britain in1933 could see what has happened now to the Britain of today and it's former Empire I have no doubt that the great leader Oswald Mosley would have been hailed and exulted nationally as a truly great British statesman and visionary.
However in is political and business dealings he was beyond reproach.
One of the things that drove Mosley to his doctrine was the appalling loss of life for no gain in WW1.
Another was the appalling treatment of ALL the soldiers (most were working class civilian conscripts) on ALL sides who were treated like shit by the political elite after the war.
We bombed, beat, stabbed and gassed each other while our elite stood on.
It is called a Greenshirt now terry what do you think I am stupid? Also on current trends black may not be a good idea in case we get accused of dressing up our party members in emo rags.
in my book humanist = somebody who believes that human life has intrinsic value and shares the same rights. BLUUURGH
give me a world of hierachy and pitlyless inequality, the thought alone brings me tears of joy. yes yummy yummy Fascism.
Your entire world view is based of chilidish utopianism and you have the temerity to tell 'me' to grow up!? Integralism is based on nature and science and is as grounded in realism as humanly possible. It is you who has his head in the clouds with his deluded precepts of what life is about.
. . . like throwing away the bits of Mosley you don't like: the racism; the support for Corporal Hitler and his henchmen; the street-thuggery; the egotism; the aristocratic snobbery; the crazy dreams of power; the learning-nothing-from-all-of-this-&-attempting-a-comeback-post-1945!and so on.
"Balance" has no meaning when discussing this low level of politics, whether of the loony Right or the loony Left.
Good point, but if someone offers a good idea you dont throw it away because other things they says are detestable.
Worst of all when do this it means that person or those groups are the only left supporting that view which gives them clout.
It's like nationalists, you can't beat them with a war on words, what you should to is take the wind out of thier sails? EG Illegal immigration fear? Have tight border secuirtiy, concern is over and one less thing they have a valid point on.
Mosley was never responsible for the death of a single man. Trotsky on the other hand was a terroristic psychopath who led the reds in a civil war that clamed the lives of 15,000,000 people.
Now you come to me with your petty claims of liberty and humanism to attack a Mosley for all he has done, YET you are quite happy to semi idolise communist mass murderers. This is not an attack on you, just a reminder not to be such a hypocrite.
You have fatally misunderstod the issue. You as a humanist have the temerity to scrutanise Mosley for his non existant association with a certain mass murderer in central europe despite yet are quite happy to draw your political energy from other genocidal maniacs. I am NOT a humanist, I have no need to lie about my inspiration, Mosley could have slaughtered the east end and drank their blood and it would not bother me so long as it was necissary.
So what does that say about a system where all the politicians lie? ;)
Accertaining the truth is difficult; apparantly you think I would dislike living under a fascist regime, I doubt that, but neither of us can be certain until it happens. So again let the good times roll.
Quoting Trotsky to prove your point, WOW! Your mom did a lot of drugs when she was pregnant with you didn't she. Isn't it hilarious how these communist scum go on & on about the evils of fascism, the hypocrisy is mind fucking. Compare all those killed by communists with all those killed by fascists & it's like comparing Mt Everest to an ant hill.
I think he should read a facinating little panthlet by Leon called 'the necessity of red terror' Its an absolutely charming little book which argues for shooting retreating troops and punishing their families (a policy which led to the capture and murder of three million russian soldiers in the opening stages of Barbarossa). Moreover what do you think this says about terrysleeper?
LT's "Terrorism & Communism" is even scarier - you'd know if you were a li ttle better read politically.
The point of quoting LT is that he was one of the very few people who foresaw the baseness and savagery of Fascism / Nazism and wrote about it superbly. It does not mean that I subscribe to the rest of his outlook.
Seems to me almost that it took one to know one. Communists . . . Fascists . . . pack of idiots, the lot of th
Idiots that you happen you use for your political energy? just so long as you throw away the bits you dont like; the harshness, the camps, the purging of political enemies and the crushing out of counter revolutionary forces, ect (I dont mean to go on too much). It is odd how a man who was allegedly so 'right' about fascism was so utterly wrong about everything else. That said thank you for the 'heads up' on that book it sounds like a real ripper of a read.
Also would you consider using Fascist anti communist quotes when you were faced by my communist equivilant somewhere out there, especially as Fascism is the intellectualisation of anti communism and conservative outlooks tend to come from an anti intellectual position. For the sake of balance ;)
I see so the center party membership halfing in the past 20 years, public opionion over the recent scandels, 15% of the electorate dropping off the board NONE OF THAT HAPPENED? it isnt fantasy it is factual statement. You are the one in cuckoo land.
And if you had had the misfortune to ever have lived in a country run by Fascist fantasists you would be, to borrow Philip Larkin's phrase, "less deceived".
We can only hope that happens as soon as possible, then we will see who is right on this one. Ooooo the thought just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
A little cliche, but surely you cannot deny that conditions couldn't be more perfect for a third party movement. Liberals have no more vitality, their parties are in terminal decline and their politicians have never been more unpopular. There is only one direction for us to go and that is UP!
Yet we built the second greatest military and economic power in history. Mosley and his benefactors, Hitler and Mussolini, had support from the ruling classes yet they were, ultimately, suffocated by the red flag. Marxist parties can still boast worldwide membership figures in the tens of millions. What of the Integralists? What've you done?
Integralism = IngSoc.
"I hate goodness, hate purity; I don't want virtue to exist anywhere, I want everyone corrupt." Amen to that, Winston.
HA the red flag had the most horrible humiliating death, not conquered under tank tracks of an occupier but allowed to die slowly, painfully, for all the world to see until socilism collapsed on its own absurdity. The state structures of socialism have gone down, china froze its communism into a theology, and its western social democratic version has become left wing thatcherism. All you have is the sniveling children of the borgeosie of whom you are no doubt one. Our time has only just begun.
And also how ironic you use IngSoc, short for 'english Socialism' which was a critique by Orwell of the totalitarian state communist system people like you would seek to enforce.
I am a Trotskyist, as was Orwell. Goldstein was based on Leon Trotsky. Orwell faught against Mosley's mates for the POUM (a Trotskyist militia). Writings like The Lion and The Unicorn promote uniquely Trotskyist arguments. His fear was totalitarianism - something that is antithetical to the Marxist tradition, yet intrinsic to fascism. English Socialism, sounds a bit like National Socialism, wouldn't you say? Like Mosley's British Union of Fascists and NATIONAL SOCIALISTS.
Except of course IngSoc was not national socialist, oceana is a vast multi racial bloc wherin all groups have full political equality, more so even than stalinist russia when you think about it. (I assume you actually read 1984?). Nations do not exist only the party, britain is just a zone called 'air strip one' and all its cultural heritage has been wiped out (so all can be the same). so whatever way you look at it nothing 'national' about it.
"Our time has only just begun." Keep telling yourself that. There's a reason why the BUF symbol is referred to as the flash in the pan.
Let's say that socialism is a rediculous as you claim. What does that say about fascism? You know, defeated by the rediculous reds? And what of Mosley specifically? Defeated at Cable Street, despite police protection? There's no such thing as a fascist march - only a police march.
And it's bourgeoisie, though I am not a part of it; my father was a coal miner.
The BUF was 'defeated' through a combination of the war and 18B, nothing spectacular. Cable street was 'lost' because police protection failed to clear a path, so the high commisioner ordered Mosley to go home, they lost because they were the only ones who obeyed the law that day. with the police routed mosley was actually in his legal right to sent his men in and cause a blood bath, though we will never know what the outcome of the actual battle of cable street might have been.
And at what time might I add was any genuine fascist movement defeated by socialism other than under the banner of an invading army? in Britian for instance why was the BUF's membership figures twice that of the communist party? I also assure you they did not usually need police protection, some area's were simply theirs.
Kind of fits with my assertion that there is no such thing as a fascist march; only a police march. Don't kid yourself; if the police had not been there, Mosley would have been strung up, just like his Italian mentor.
"He saw everything through the distorting mirror of his own fantasises, and was irretrievably consumed by them. He would never see himself as others saw him." - David Frost (1967).
that is 100% true!in my country Serbia we let lbanians come and work in for minimal wage in the south. Now we have a huge problem with their growing numbers and we are losing kosovo!KOSOVO IS THE HEART OF SERBIA!!!!
The Albanian concentration in Kosovo is largely due to Serbs displacing scores of Albanians from the regions of Niš, Pirot, Leskovac and Vranje after the Congress of Berlin.
hey asshole! Do not lecture them about anything! You bloodthursty serbs stole Bosnia from us the Croats, where we lived from 8th century and established so-called republika srpska, so i say i can't wait until i see you on drina. Za Dom Spremni! U U U
" . . . he [OM] took exception to being described as anti-Semitic himself. Unity [Mitford] might have been anti-Semitic, but that was madness. Hitler might have been anti-Semitic, but that was Nazism. He, Sir Oswald, had never been anti-Semitic. Nor had his movement, the British Union of Fascists — which, to hear Sir Oswald tell it, must have been some kind of philanthropic organisation." - Clive James.
Mosley was one of britains most loved politicians (labour will tell you otherwise). His book 'my answer' gives great insight in to the lies of the left that wanted to portray Mosley as something he wasn't. He was not anti semitic, he was not a racist, he was a facist because he believed in financed capitalism.
Why didn't we listen? Today we have anti-semite anarchy/crime and tomorrow we will be lost :-(

peppermintjohn666 1 year ago 4
@peppermintjohn666 No, this does not make any sense to me at all. How on earth did Britain have to compete with Asia given that Britain had its own industry and the Empire to trade with?
NatDemUK 1 year ago
@NatDemUK Well, to be simple, profiteering Capitalists and corrupted Communists both used (and in the case of the Capitalists, still use) labour from developing nations in order to worm around minimum wages and other things intended to sustain people, as many poorer people in non-American and European countries are willing to work for a fraction of our minimum wages. It is Globalization being used to keep the poor, poor, while also sapping the middle.
KAPTAINmORGANnWo4eva 1 year ago
@KAPTAINmORGANnWo4eva in those days it would have been difficult for a company to import immigrants and resettle in a foreign country, plus we had the Empire which would have installed protection and regulation.
NatDemUK 1 year ago
@NatDemUK They weren't relocating the people: They were (and still are) building things there on the cheap, and bringing the goods to other nations.
And by the time the Union Movement was going, the British Empire's days were numbered. India was gone, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand were long gone, and most of Africa was being freed.
The only real place of interest that was left was Hong Kong.
KAPTAINmORGANnWo4eva 1 year ago
@NatDemUK I think he's talking about things like why our apples now come from Egypt and our runner beans come from Kenya. Think about what has happened to our strong motor industries, and telecommunications, all of our consumer electronics are now produced overseas in China, and our Minis are being made by the Germans! I see a lot of unemployed British people and a lot of exploited foreign workers. Globalisation and international finance..
marsupialbeige 1 year ago
@NatDemUK ...it is simple my friend: international finance is composed by the most important banks in the world and by the multinatioanl that are acting in all parts of the world...it si simple, they move the economic production into the countries that the labor is cheap, and sell it after at a huge price in the home countries; while the production is moved, the home labors are tricked to take credits from the banks, but since the production was moved the salaries dont get up at the same
FormaMentis2009 1 year ago
@NatDemUK ...level with the credits that the labors took from the banks...this is just a primitive answer because my english is not that good...
FormaMentis2009 1 year ago
@NatDemUK
what is not clear ??
British and European industry is collapsing because it can not compete with cheap labor and makets from third world countries. A capitalist will rather pay to some yellow worker from Asia 30-50$ monthly then to European worker 3000-5000$, so it is logical that goods and merchandises from those countries is so much cheaper then our European so it is logical too that our goods and merchandises can't compete with those on free market and also other side effect is

@shockadelicaustralia (...continued from previous) I see gold medals being handed out in all of those areas. But "greatest"? This isn't a boxing match. It's not all "me go boom on everyone else, make money, be greatest."
wellesradio 1 year ago
@wellesradio Greatest is a *relative* term. There must be an overall 'greatest' civilisation, just as there is a 'greatest' of anything else, so who is it? You mention power, wealth, influence, cultural achievements. So which civilisation made the *most* power/wealth/inlfuence/etc? it's not China, Japan, Islam/Arabs, India or Egypt. Western Civilisation, particularly the British branch of it, wins by a few hands I think.
shockadelicaustralia 1 year ago
@shockadelicaustralia Is there necessarily a "greatest" of everything? A greatest element? Greatest natural kingdom? Civilization as a process rather than a localized ethnic clubhouse seems to be a rational idea. Furthermore, your definition of "western civilization" is cumbersome and lacking serious education if you think to exclude "Islam/Arabs" (Christ, "Islam" isn't even a fucking nation, ethnicity or collection of states) and "Egypt."
wellesradio 1 year ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@wellesradio I think you'll find Muslims consider Islam to be a civilisation. Only ignorant Westerners define it as a 'religion-only'. And I said 'Islam/Arabs', which have never been considered part of the Western world.
All civilisations are localised. They've only spread by colonisation.
"My guess is you simply want to feel like a part of a winning team". And you don't, so why don't you leave our civilisation and move to one of all those wonderful alternatives (if they'll let you in).
shockadelicaustralia 1 year ago
@shockadelicaustralia furthermore, the list of categories I mentioned were simply a smattering of loose ideas, none of which can empirically delineate "greatness." And even if they were so postulated, Britain doesn't take the cake on half of those. The age of antiquity would laugh its head off. I have no idea if you're really Australian or not, but my guess is you simply want to feel like a part of a winning team. Fine.

There was nothing great about the battle of cable street which if you knew anything of the subject, was exclusively between the illegal protestors and the police.

Utopianism? I said Erasmus - not More, you nitwit.
Every micky-mouse political charlatan claims that his "philosophy" is based on "nature and science".
Oh, Ben! How do you presume to know what my "precepts" are? Let alone that they are deluded?
I repeat: grow up, Ben. Fascism (like Communism) was no joke for those who had to live under it.
TerrySleeper 2 years ago
The so called enlightenment is based on the precepts of the Christian religion which through virture of its supernatural moral system is fundementally unnatural . This requires a leap of faith eg you believe in human rights yes? that in itself is an 'eternal value' which exists outside nature and the material world. Though I am very aware you have dodged the question of your political identity, you make it VERY clear what your moral outlook is.
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
On the other hand pre christian forms of morality, whilst based on spiritual precepts are spiritual precepts that are innate to the condition of man. This is why the theories of Machiavelli, Hobbes, and Plato whom the enlightenment is a reaction against, are sometimes referred to as the 'Pagan argument'. I can say with conviction that Integralism is based on nature because rather than a empoying a system that is a means to an end it is the means that are the end as a system of moral being.

His personal life and love life were a shambles.

Ok terry here is a little history lesson
Mosley was never responsible for the death of a single man. Trotsky on the other hand was a terroristic psychopath who led the reds in a civil war that clamed the lives of 15,000,000 people.
Now you come to me with your petty claims of liberty and humanism to attack a Mosley for all he has done, YET you are quite happy to semi idolise communist mass murderers. This is not an attack on you, just a reminder not to be such a hypocrite.

Explain why opposing WW2 was a bad thing?
Street thuggery? The cable street riots were started by far-left, trouble-making thugs, a bit like the "UAF" of today.
Egotism? Better than being a snivelling little worm enslaved to a corrupt society.
What's to learn? He was right.

I think he should read a facinating little panthlet by Leon called 'the necessity of red terror' Its an absolutely charming little book which argues for shooting retreating troops and punishing their families (a policy which led to the capture and murder of three million russian soldiers in the opening stages of Barbarossa). Moreover what do you think this says about terrysleeper?
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago

That said thank you for the 'heads up' on that book it sounds like a real ripper of a read.
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
Also would you consider using Fascist anti communist quotes when you were faced by my communist equivilant somewhere out there, especially as Fascism is the intellectualisation of anti communism and conservative outlooks tend to come from an anti intellectual position. For the sake of balance ;)
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
Yes, I can deny it, because it's cloud-cuckoo, make-believe Fascist & racist fantasy.
No-one would have a problem denying that.
"Forwards to Fascism!"
Ha!

I see so the center party membership halfing in the past 20 years, public opionion over the recent scandels, 15% of the electorate dropping off the board NONE OF THAT HAPPENED? it isnt fantasy it is factual statement. You are the one in cuckoo land.
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
You see nothing, Ben, nothing.

"Our time has only just begun"?
Listen to yourself, Ben.
You need help & you need it badly.
TerrySleeper 2 years ago
A little cliche, but surely you cannot deny that conditions couldn't be more perfect for a third party movement. Liberals have no more vitality, their parties are in terminal decline and their politicians have never been more unpopular. There is only one direction for us to go and that is UP!

Mosley was an utter cunt. That is all.

Bravo, tow the party line comrade. You sond just the same as every other marxist bastard, there isnt a single functioning brain cell between you.
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
Yet we built the second greatest military and economic power in history. Mosley and his benefactors, Hitler and Mussolini, had support from the ruling classes yet they were, ultimately, suffocated by the red flag. Marxist parties can still boast worldwide membership figures in the tens of millions. What of the Integralists? What've you done?
Integralism = IngSoc.

Our time has only just begun.
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
And also how ironic you use IngSoc, short for 'english Socialism' which was a critique by Orwell of the totalitarian state communist system people like you would seek to enforce.
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
I am a Trotskyist, as was Orwell. Goldstein was based on Leon Trotsky. Orwell faught against Mosley's mates for the POUM (a Trotskyist militia). Writings like The Lion and The Unicorn promote uniquely Trotskyist arguments. His fear was totalitarianism - something that is antithetical to the Marxist tradition, yet intrinsic to fascism. English Socialism, sounds a bit like National Socialism, wouldn't you say? Like Mosley's British Union of Fascists and NATIONAL SOCIALISTS.
TheSpineyOne 2 years ago
Except of course IngSoc was not national socialist, oceana is a vast multi racial bloc wherin all groups have full political equality, more so even than stalinist russia when you think about it. (I assume you actually read 1984?). Nations do not exist only the party, britain is just a zone called 'air strip one' and all its cultural heritage has been wiped out (so all can be the same). so whatever way you look at it nothing 'national' about it.
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
"Our time has only just begun." Keep telling yourself that. There's a reason why the BUF symbol is referred to as the flash in the pan.
Let's say that socialism is a rediculous as you claim. What does that say about fascism? You know, defeated by the rediculous reds? And what of Mosley specifically? Defeated at Cable Street, despite police protection? There's no such thing as a fascist march - only a police march.
And it's bourgeoisie, though I am not a part of it; my father was a coal miner.
TheSpineyOne 2 years ago
The BUF was 'defeated' through a combination of the war and 18B, nothing spectacular. Cable street was 'lost' because police protection failed to clear a path, so the high commisioner ordered Mosley to go home, they lost because they were the only ones who obeyed the law that day. with the police routed mosley was actually in his legal right to sent his men in and cause a blood bath, though we will never know what the outcome of the actual battle of cable street might have been.
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
And at what time might I add was any genuine fascist movement defeated by socialism other than under the banner of an invading army? in Britian for instance why was the BUF's membership figures twice that of the communist party? I also assure you they did not usually need police protection, some area's were simply theirs.
peppermintjohn666 2 years ago
Let's get back into the present, eh? How many members can your party boast?
TheSpineyOne 2 years ago
Kind of fits with my assertion that there is no such thing as a fascist march; only a police march. Don't kid yourself; if the police had not been there, Mosley would have been strung up, just like his Italian mentor.

The Albanian concentration in Kosovo is largely due to Serbs displacing scores of Albanians from the regions of Niš, Pirot, Leskovac and Vranje after the Congress of Berlin.

MOSLEY WAS A RACIST ANTI-SEMITE.
" . . . he [OM] took exception to being described as anti-Semitic himself.
