the PTRS-41 is a propper sniper, well its a anti tank rifle with a scope, blows limbs clean off your enemies in cod5 ;) and the other rifles are sniper rifles but you can have them with a scope, bayonet, rifle grenade or just have them with bog standard iorn sights which i love for CQC

There is actually NO sniper weapons in this game.

PTRS was designed as Anti-tank rifle.

And others were "Military rifles".

They were desinged as weapon for Footsoldier.

Real sniper weapons are guns what are desinged for that purpose suck as M40 series.
