oh yeah, and I am singing a harmony line in key btw - thanks for noticing gatesofbabylon! I think it may be someone in the audience harmonizing with me that threw out the key a bit!
...that said, lyrically and melodically: "sweet dreams" may be the most negative, downer song ever written. it literally drips "bummer"- why anyone likes it, makes me worry about the nasty lives theyve had.
Singing it off key, with a (sorry) sloppy stage show,
...really puts the nail in the coffin for that track.
I think it works, as the second singer is singing the third of the main melody. I think it sounds good. And since she is singing the harmony quite accurately and on purpose, I wouldn't count that as singing "off-key". She's in the same key but singing the harmony.

the singer has pretty good range, but seems to lose the key of the song sometimes. sweet to do mashups though
