Actually, she was BEFORE your time... and ahead of HER time. ;=} I'm glad that you appreciate great physical comedy. It's my favorite kind! She was better than most. I guess she would be categorized as "zany."

Off hand, I cannot think of any more interesting clips [of her] that I have saved.

Oh shoot! Ya beat me!! I added this clip with high bit-rate so the "watch in high quality" option would be available. But, ya beat me!! I expanded the audio & removed the ticks & pops & glitches. And, ya beat me!!! I eq'd the sound and boosted the video. So, ya beat me!!!! The "high quality" option gets ya better sound too. Shucks, ya beat me!!!!! ;-} Thanks for letting me know. Thanks for the correction. Betty was before my time(I was born in 52) and way ahead of her time. Ever since i 'rediscovered' Betty on TCM a few years ago I can't seem to get away from her grip on me. What impresses me the most about her was her incredible Dynamic. She could tear the house down with one song and bring a tear to your eye with another. She was also athletic and a fine actress as well. She has posts all over You Tube from people the world over of different ages. She was unique.
