what a piece of shit the two fallout games has been. fallout 3 and new vegas are broken beyond belief. they are good games, but I'm not talking about the story or the gameplay. Im talking about the annoying things that makes it unplayable. My computers usually cost 3000 to 4000 dollars to build every 2 or 3 years and it can't run a fallout game without problems. Stutter, jumpy map loads ect. The incredible thing is that with new vegas they managed to make it worse!.

How to make people skip your vid... add annoying music, if you can call it such.. I just turned it off. Otherwise good info to know. 6g Ram i7@3.6Ghz and GTX560ti. Framerate is good with all the patches, but there is still micro stutter close to the player. Not so much a stutter, but a more of a slow down then it catches up... Only noticable close to the player when moving. I think it's because the game is 32bit, doesn't seem to use more than 2 gigs of ram.

Works great! also turn off the Antialiasing in fallout and use nVidia control panel and select "Enhance the application setting" set the AA to 8x CSAA before i did these two things iw ould get 25 fps and after the lowest i saw was 47 fps

i can run mass effect 2 on high detail without lag or stuterring problems with a few exceptions, then i go to black ops or new vegas which both look like shit and my comp cant even run it on lowest settings, this is complete bullshit

WoW this actually made the game run 90% more smoothly, i used to lagg nasty near the casino where alot of people would be walking around, now i can walk aim smoothly, theres a little stutter when moving the mose fast from left to right. But much better improvement

Ive been having a problem with severe FPS loss wen there are 2 or more people in my camera view. ive played the game just fine as long as no Human Characters are around, Animals dont seem to affect it. but it can get highly annoying when i simply want to trade with large caravan or go to a city with a population. i havnt tried this file yet but ive seen it everywhere so im gonna try it.

Thanks for this helps a lot, can not believe how bad this game runs and thats after all the problems people had with stuttering in fallout 3. Bethseda should have resolved this prior to putting this game out.

I dropped the dll file into the main game folder and ran the game launcher which detected my gtx275 as a geforce 7600 GS and set everything to medium settings.

I clicked on high settings and exited the launcher. I then ran FalloutNV NOT FalloutNV launcer and it makes a big difference.
