seems to me, traxxas solved the servo problem why can,t you or losi work on the flawed area. + i looked up your page & you don't even own 1 or more rc's. if your going to comment, at least show some vids that your into the hobby. another youtube cri-dick.
It doesn't have a way to keep dirt out of the servo because Losis' reps specifically state that it's "not for off road use"making your statement about RC's being designed to go on ans off road if flawed .
It seems like many people dont understand that space is very important and thats the reason why the 1/18 and 1/24 scale exists. Less space to run them.
RC 'S were desinged to go off & onroad. looks like to me. this losi sct 4x4 looks like it was designed to go off road. put on your thinking cap & open your eyes & see that it looks like an off road vehicle designed for off road & onroad. instead off focusing your attention on my demo of what the vehicle can do. you should be writing to the losi Company & ask them why did they design at truck for off road but didn't think about keeping dirt & gravel from getting inside.
@jccb487 It's called a truck built for fun. Sure my E-D8 would smoke this in dirt or really anywhere at 55mph and 1/8 scale size but this is a 1/24 truck and something to just bash around for fun with. Think about this before you go commenting comparing a 1/10 nitro MT to a 1/24 micro SCT
The SCT, and all other Micro are designed for indoor use... and indoor you dont have dirt... go figure? now instead of complaining like a little girl, why dont you find a way become a constructive and useful person...
I agree, Looks like an off road with a truck body and tires but isn't cappable of anything passed rally condistions. So I mainly just play inside or on a fresh paved parking lot and road. For a good time, Go to the mall and drift on the smooth surface. Don't be raspy and get kicked out. you'll want to go back.
@mattio79 Oh so I guess I can't run my Axial SCX10 Honcho in dirt or on rocks because the gears are plastic. Think about it, most RC's have plastic gears and can run offroad. Plus, gears for these are so inexpensive, if you strip a spur or a pinion, eh no big deal
@phoenixfire47 it isn't about the material, it's about the size. the pitch of the gears in these micros are very very fine. most other rcs have a coarser pitch. this makes the proportional size of the dirt VERY large by comparison. it would be like getting gravel in a normal rc's transmission, as that is how relatively unsealed these are.
@mattio79 I dunno I ran my BL/LiPo micro dt many times in dirt and didn't experience any issues. But like I said at the cost of the gears, I don't think that he'll really care if anything strips out.
i just dropped $150 for this car in the ready to run brushless package
can i get your opinions on that version

This is something not even the guys of xmod were able to do. A car capable to run in dirt. So I recommend you seal it inside.

get a basher if your going to go in that dirt my revo 3.3 can smoke any short course truck in that kind of dirt they suck at off roading.

shouldn't run it in the dirt. the gears are plastic and will be totally wrecked by the dirt.
put on your thinking cap and either seal it or take it indoors or on the pavement (skate parks, etc) where it was designed to go.
