Видео забавное, особенно немного жалкие попытки пса самому залезть туда-значит, и он сам хотел туда попасть и повисеть. Собака полностью доверяет владельцу, это хорошо, он же не учит её курить.
I can't believe the people who are claiming this is abusive in some way. Does the dog look like he's being FORCED into it? No. He's being rewarded for his efforts - like with any other training. He doesn't look like he's in pain, so he's not being hurt by the act. He's not being neglected. Where's the abuse?
Training a dog to do something (anything that doesn't hurt the dog) as long as its done in a humane way - which this is - is not abusive. Hard work is not abuse. Laziness is abuse.
I see NOTHING abusive in this. The dog is doing it to please his master and because he know he will get to play with his ball after. Yes it's a bit weird and not a natural thing for a dog to do, but so what? Dogs are highly adaptable and learn all kinds of new things if motivated by love, a treat or in this case a simple tennis ball.
@keywestWTF 'but so what?' really? what ever happened to just throwing a ball for a dog to chase & bring back. mine seems quite content to play that way, as most would. 'motivated by love' ? you're scarey.
@rheazadeh Dogs need mental stimulation, sure you can just walk your dog, but you will end up with a much more rounded and fun dog if you train it to do a few more things. This is very advanced and a super smart dog, NOt all dogs can do all things, it depends on the breed. My dog plays frisbee and other games, but I had to train her to do it. Also WTF did I say that was remotely scarey (sic). I sense you are a bit of an idiot.
@Sjakendekoters hey if i get enough requests to do it my self, i will upload a vid of me trying the same trick myself..believe me im the one who has been paitently working with my boy ozzy most days, ive seen every step of the challenge completed, it was dam near imposible, but paitence paid of. so i really do know how hard it is, thanks for the idea though
You are a clever lad Ozzy, and the love that you two have is awesome, and the time and dedication you both put in is very admirable, with lots of love from us two!
A video like this just puts a smile on my face to see how strong the bond is between the dog and his owner. The dog is like his son. All dogs should be treated as children and never abused.
@supermax247. Dogs should never be abused - But they're dogs & should be treated as.......well.....dogs. You dont tuck them into bed like children - you dont spoonfeed them like children - they are pack animals & respectfully treated as such.
@Iign The domestic dog is a subspecies of the grey wolf, and shares many of its behavioral characteristics. Although there are important and distinct differences between dogs and wolves, contemporary views of dog behavior are heavily influenced by research on wild wolves. The social unit of dogs is the pack. The pack has traditionally been thought of as a tightly knit group composed of individuals that have earned a ranking in a linear hierarchy
@supermax247 seriously? 'the dog is like his son' ??? he wouldnt DARE try to train his SON to do such antics... i'm sure he would think it abominable to treat a human as such. looks to me like he needs a real life.
how?

The dog WANTS to do it, you can see his tail is clearly up in a lot of the scenes.
Think of it as both of them working as a team, one as a trainer and the other the athlete.
I entirely believe that the dog is acting on his own accord and enjoys it.
