It is a fact that we are running out of fossil fuels, tell people that and they just say "So what" and go on as normal.

It's also a fact that we seriously need to cut our dependence on these fuels well before they run out.

If people won't cut their usage because it's running out then frighten the shit out of them by saying using fossil fuels will kill the planet.

Global warming is irrelevant, whether it is natural or man made doesnt change the fact that we have to cut our fossil fuel usage.

It isn't people who refuse to change, it's the goddamned corporations and politicians themselves. These greedy pigs don't want to change, they just want to tax us, and impoverish us forever. Meanwhile, they're damning the rivers, polluting air, soil, and water with their filthy corporations, they're enslaving millions all the world over, and so on. Now they want to end your right to own property, and they want to tax you for living. They want it all!

I see your point. After all what is a couple million dead around the world because of using food for fuel & there by driving up the cost of food starving the poorest of the poor to death.

When oil production peeks & the price of oil goes up people will find alternatives & adapt. We don't need to be treated like sheep.

Thomas Kuhn had it right all along. Scientists (no matter WHAT they believe) will seek out information to justify their existing beliefs and ignore all other data. This is true on both sides of the "climate change" debate. (And yes, okay, I prefer the less politically sensitive term "global warming"!) Weather models are not good predictors of future weather. Now let's get on with what to do about it!
