I had an 87 Si. It was a great car. I would average about 36. A few times, I got 44 mpg. That was the car that started my love for Honda's. I bought an Accord after that and drove it for 8 years and sold it to buy a Toyota Celica. Terrible mistake. That car was worse than anything I ever owned! It was always breaking down and seemed like every six months there was a new recall on it. The pieces of the interior always broke on the Celica. I sold that and bought a Prelude 4ws! Great Car!

MPG yes safe no... the Government made the car company make bigger cars for the dumb guy driven his big gas hog SUV wont kill you when they hit you..
they should have had a rule not to make they cars so big...
The SUV are not around that much anymore but we have bigger cars now..

this car was way ahead of it's time. Amazing ride, unbelievable gas milage and so freaking fun to drive. Why can't Honda remake this exact car.
