Brilliant Vic. I'm working on an arrangement of this tune. I like the way you let the notes breath on the harmony. They ring nicely. Nice movement as well. Nice job keeping the melody out front.
@carvetop01 Thanks Allen, I'm glad you like it, I made this one some time ago but I always liked this theme and progression, I think a Classical musician would have done it differently, probably less chords, lot's of success with your version,I'd love to hear it when it's finished, greetings Vic.
Dropped in to enjoy, thats a peace of work Victor...I really appreciate the music and, teaching that you guys do .Freddy,Martin,Tommy, and yourself...Wow wish Chet could have shared with us as well..I guess the other we all should thank is the Guitars that some how give us the Music Thank you all so much.!!!

Thanks Jimmy, tell your mother she has great taste, this theme is from Bach, man I humbly bow to his greatness, when a musician has crossed the frontiers of Time, it's beyond words, thanks for being here Jimmy, saludos amigo mio,Vic.
Your playing is like a beautiful sunset...you have to go outside to fully appreciate it...for if you miss out on it, you have missed out on one of natures wonders...I have not heard better or seen better...
Thanks David, what can I say of course this theme (Air) by Bach has always been an inspiration in terms of beauty, and I liked the vocal variations by Procol harum so I kinda stringed them together, thanks for your kind comment,Vic.
Hi Dorian, yeah man I got this one Tabbed out, there where many requests for this one,it's a great tune and lot's of fun to play,I'll be hearing from you, greetings Vic.

Thanks Margaret, fine chosen words here in your comment, you're talkin bout Bach, feel very honored to stand in his shadow for a minute, I agree with you, the Air-theme by Bach has a very rich melody and the vocal-melody is merely a variation on the theme but OK,nice comment, greets Vic.
harry..I do everything by ear and experience, but I'm thinking of making some Tabs(and notes) in a while, mostly I'm very busy going from one arrangement to the other, greets Vic.
I have been listening to you over the last few nights. Your playing must be an inspiration to anyone who the loves guitar. Many thanks for sharing your work :)
Now, can you stop as I'm not getting any sleep... ;-)
I think that one way to transcend times an borders is by theaching. I learnt this song from your video, I think that I played almost as well as you. Thanks for your generosity. Greetings from Mexico.
Thanks, hcacosnt, well chosen words and very true indeed, somebody also learned my arrangement of "killing me softly" by ear, that means that musicians are very motivated to learn and using your ears to full extent is far better than asking for Tabs, greets Victor.
Thanks Janus, well your version must have been quite OK if it got you in college. Thanks for subscription as well, enjoy my stuff, see you on the Tube,Vic.
Thanks Malvasio, did you know that the beginning theme and chord sequence is from Bach(Air) to put it politely Procol Harum borrowed it from him(no authors rights he's been dead far over 70 years, lol) Greets Vic.
I'm pleased to have stumbled upon your playing 'Whiter Shade of Pale". I've become a fan of your arranging and playing. I love the acoustic music, the most pure form.
Like some of your other pieces, I'm inspired to attempt to learn your arrangement on guitar. I've been playing guitar for many years. Your playing and arranging has greatly inspired my playing and is taking it to a new level.
Thanks Rocky glad that I've inspired you to take up the acoustic guitar, takes lots of time and dedication but when you start reaching a proficiant level it's very rewarding, success and lot's of fun along the way, greets Victor.

Thanks Wetzel,a real joy makin this arrangement, hearing that progression by "Bach" was pure inspiration(inspired on Air),glad you enjoyed man, greets Vic.
Hi writer, I'm a smooth chap I like the touch the essential,no beating round the bush, what does the tune need? but I like a little fantasy here and there just to spice up things, get the picture? greets Vic.
Hoi Walter, foutjes denk ik niet aan tijdens het spelen, dus zullen je ze ook niet horen,The boxer is een goed stuk, Simon&Garfunkel is altijd (bijna) goed.Ik houd hem in gedachte, groetjes Vic.
This tune itself is so beautiful, isn't it? But through your fingers it comes to life, dude! As I told Freedy, I feel very happy I met you giants, cause you made me want to go back to hard work and practice again. I thank you all! Greetings,
Thanks Carlos you're very right ,what isn't beautiful from Bach? ,man this guy created a Universe on itself with melodies and basslines interwoven so beautiful,if you start analyzing that Stuff you'll see that many things have become terribly shallow in our time, greets Vic.
Thanks Martin,it's a Takamine CP-132 I did some modifications(lowering the string action) there's an built in EQ and volume for amplification and I've put the pick guard on it my self, thanks for your attention,Victor.
I gotta confess, I like your stuff no matter what you do. You play with such great taste. Now, if I could only play my banjo like that. Bluegrass thinks fast is best.
They ain't gotta clue - well most of the time. Less is always the hardest to do.
I have a DVD of Susie Arivoli. It is amazing! They don't play loudly and she doesn't have a great voice, but it is done with such great taste the audience is absolutly quiet and she makes them listen. That is what great is.
Thank you Wolfgang, this was a pleasure to harmonize. That melody was so well in my ears and the chord progression beautiful and logical, glad you enjoyed ,greets Vic.
Thanks Local, what can I say about Bach, simply a genius, great analyzing his Music and I learn so Much from that, those bass parts very inventive. Greets Vic.
Dank je Mary, ja Bach he? Die geest was goddelijk, met geen pen te beschrijven en ook niet te evenaren. Ben blij dat ik even in z'n schaduw mocht staan, een hug en kus,Vic.
Thank you Arthur,I think the main difference in approach is that a Classical guitarist would just let the bass carry the melody while I harmonize (mostly) with bass and full chords something that comes more out of the Jazz tradition, with all respect to all Classical guitarists of course, greets Vic.
Well,Gavin when someones ear isn't sharp enough you get these frictions in the harmony and I can imagine foe a well trained ear it's (to put it mildly) not very satisfying, thanks for listening, greets Vic.
great peformance

I gotta confess, I like your stuff no matter what you do. You play with such great taste. Now, if I could only play my banjo like that. Bluegrass thinks fast is best.
They ain't gotta clue - well most of the time. Less is always the hardest to do.

Thanks,Merlyn, very wise words, I used to have a band called: "Less is More" that explains it all and you're right it ain't easy, greets Vic.

I have a DVD of Susie Arivoli. It is amazing! They don't play loudly and she doesn't have a great voice, but it is done with such great taste the audience is absolutly quiet and she makes them listen. That is what great is.
