@justuwatchme - non-exclusive is the key term there. I put a bunch of poems on here and made money off of them. They were poems that had just been sitting in journals for years. Plus, I get to share my work with the world now, and get constructive criticism on the things I chose to post and share the rights to. That way I can improve my writing and work on things that I'm not going to publish on Helium.
Have you seen their user agreement? Any work posted is basically owned by them. You can't remove your work from the site and they can do what they want with it. Protest now. Don't lose your right to manage your own work.
