hi rolf.that is a great sound.i have the quad plus with eftp but no way does it sound that good. i take it you have either the q2 or the q20.did i see on a comment that your running this alongside a line 6 pod xt live.many thanks,,,,,,,,,,steve

Having struggled over the years to get Hanks sound and failing miserably I have to say you have got the most beautiful sound i have heard anywhere. And that is the best track as well. Very well done indeed.

Having sold my Cybertwin I have been unsure what to get. Not any more!

always loved the Shadows. Never played a guitar myself but would love to start,,,with these types. what guitar would I need to get for this sound? Sorry complete noob when it comes to instruments

If you want to get close ...

Stratocaster model with single coil pickups

An echo machine as Meazzi, Alesisi Q2/Q20, TVS3

And an amplifier such as VOX or JMI

And passion ... ;-)

Det vore väl den totala lyckan att äga ett Meazzi! Men det är inget äkta Meazzi eko, så du behöver inte vara avis...

Under mitt videklipp kan man läsa;

"I'm using a Stratocaster '56, VOX AC30 "Blue" with Alesis Quadraverb Q2 and the EFTP patch; Echo - Meazzi. ".

Det är alltså Alesis Quadraverb 2 som genererar ekot via en Meazzi patch från Charlie Hall.

Passar på att fråga dig om ditt grymma ljud i Summerlove of 59, vad använer du?

@blueslab Lite osäker på vad jag använder eftersom jag med fler spelade på olika voxriggar, men jag tror det var en AC30 Top och nån voxlåda, åsså var det Bertil Olssons Q20 med EFTP.

@RogerPaulss0n Dear Roger, do you thing that the Alesis make that sound or your patches, because the EFTP from Charlie do not have that sound on any machine.Ex: Apache hase the note + 3 echos 1+2 and Charlie made 1+2

What do you think about the tone of the Alesis? Ist it better than a RX-2200, MS etc..

Ireally wish to have that sound from Rolf.

En av mina största favoriter från The Shadows. Bra sound i melodin. Ett litet tips, introt samt liknande partier ska spelas med halsmick om man kör originalversionen. Kör man det outro du gör så måste man i sista frasen även slå om tillbaka till stallmick.. Testa det så märker du skillnaden. Annars helt kanon.

En del håller jag reda på. När det gäller Easy Mute tremoloarm så tror jag inte det finns någon i Sverige. Easy Mute hade olika varianter förr, olika längder, en del i guld. Tror bara den i rostfritt finns. Sök efter Easy Mute för att komma till deras sida. Förr kostade den runt 600 kr, då med certifikat.

@SOMattsson Halloj... Du träffade spiken på skallen eller-vad-det-nu-heter. Det är precis som du säger - ett grymt djup dessutom sjukt bra upplösning på ekot. Men det är inte som du kanske tror. Meazziekot är en patch som ligger i min Alesis Qadraverb Q2. "Ehoes From The Past". Kombinationen Q2 och AC30 är bara hur bra som helst.
