Message me to teach you Everything you need to build a Web Server and get a free fixed Addresss (for example mysite.zapto.org). You need a pc, a simple internet connection (1mbps or more) ! I can assist you via teamviewer remote desktop to setup everything for you ! You DONT need to have static ip address or any special internet provider plan ! Do you have a bussiness do you want to host BIG Video files ? THIS IS THE ONLY SOLUTION
@Unitedproductionsful Blah I thought I replied to this sooner... Part 1 is called "PHP Lesson 01: Variables". I don't know how to link the video but just search for that. As for part 2 must have been so bad I removed it... >.<
This is fun to learn how to host, but its not recommended for hosting 24/7. I use HostGator for my hosting. I even have a coupon for you guys!! 9.94$ OFF
hi, your video is really good.. i just want to ask, how to publish my website to the internet where other people could access it... could you please make a video on how to make a web server on XAMPP...
Ok, Nevermind about my list question. I have a bunch of php files already saved to my pc but when I try to view them I displays the php coding instead of the way it works with my domain. What do I need to do to get this to work. Thanks
hey, great tutorials. I got everything working fine, I tested phpmyadmin. and got a test database working. But my only question is how do I open my files. Do I need to save the to a specific place or what. Thanks alot for the tutorial. I've been looking for something like this.
Hey I did this, installed apache. Seems to work fine. localhost and everything... but when I try to open any .php film from desktop or anywhere else on my computer in Ie or forfox it just seems to bring up the php code or blank page where u can see php code in source. So basically, is there anything I need to do. save the .php files in a specific folder?
4. then paste this to 4 other video's, if you do this your crush will kiss you on the nearest friday! But if you read this and did not paste this, then you will have very bad luck and ur dad might lose his job
ok I used a different computer, and it worked, I got everything working but it still doesn't work. I can get to localhost and what not, i can checked the status, everything's running. but when i try php code, nothing happens

what folder are you putting the php code into?
gorilla3d 4 years ago
Nothing special? where should it be? I'm talking about php in a html file.
imloststillsearching 4 years ago
If you are using php, you MUST name the file with .php
so if you have index.html and you are trying to use php in that file, you MUST rename the file to index.php
gorilla3d 4 years ago
Any special folder?
imloststillsearching 4 years ago
I saved it in C:\ I named it test.php but it treats it at a regular text file.

Also as a note, if you are running SKYPE, it will block the default ports. Goto Tools->Options->Connection and disable "Use port 80 and 443"

acaully i got connection was reset this time not timed out.
imloststillsearching 4 years ago
Well, I got around that problem by reading the readme and clicking on the setup thing. I got them both running but it still times out..
